Caught several coyotes in The #2 sleepy creek double longspring. Holds em no problem.! All i use are slleepy creek #2 #3 double longs for k9's. The #2 a far the best fox trap I have ever used! Don't freeze down as easy as coil springs and bed solid. The long springs stabalize the trap when bedding!
@@JDubbsadventure My tripod came in yesterday morin its a Ultimaxx and it is a "50 one and hopefully the external mic comes soon so my audio is better. I wish I could get the camera your giving away so I could have 2 different angles because when I do archery I stand maybe 40 to 50 yards from where my arrows land. If i did win the camera I could have one for when I am shooting and one to show where my arrows land.
I use a lot Bridger DLS #4 offsets and Bridger #4 dls reg jaws and Duke #5 dls and #11s I want some sleepy Creek #4s but bet they high were they closed sucks to they was made in wva
@@JDubbsadventure sleepy creek is long since out of bussiness. Brian mckee at Southern snares and supply bought their entire operation and equipment with the intent of manufacturing them under their ownership, and possibly rolling out a couple cast jaw, baseplated models but i fear he may have bit off more than he can chew trying to do that plus run a 1man show trappling supply and bait and lure bussiness. I kerp my fingers crossed because a cast jaw, base plated, pan tension adjustable, big panned, offset jawed #3 sleepy creek damn near can give this guy a wet dream ...lol
perfect trap for me I like them its a good trap thats what I use sleepy creek # 2 excellent trap
By far my favorite

Most of my long springs are sleepy creek I have a few bridger and some victor and Blake and lamb that I really like to
I'm going to look into the #2's. I don't water trap yet but I want to
there awesome traps
Can you measure the diameter of upper spring hole and complete spring lenght for No#2,please?
Yes as soon as I get home I’ll take a few measurements for you.
Inner diameter is .82 inch and outer diameter is 1.25
The top half of the spring is 5.75 inches
Tnx very much
The #2 in the videos looks smaller than the old #2 victors i have. May just be due to being a video that im viewing on all phone screen
Not sure
Haven't used long springs before
I love long springs once you use them you won’t go back
I’ve heard good reviews about the Sleepy Creek traps.
Sleepy creek #2 are my favorite trap
Nice review bro
Thank you so much 🙂
Great video JDubb! I’ve never used any long springs, those look good and sturdy 👍
Once you use long springs you won’t go back to coil springs the sleepy creek #2 are my favorite
Nice review, I don't think I would like the base plate on that particular trap. Have a BLESSED day.
I understand
I just picked up both them traps. The only thing that I'm not sure about is why on the very end of the dog it bends up.
Some people bend the end of the dog up to make it more sensitive to firing
#11?
A #11 is a #1 with two springs. I like the #2 for all around
I dont own any longsprings yet. I'll have to check some out.
Not much of a pan for them to step on
The pans are kinda small but you can weld a large pan on the easy but I haven’t see any need to
Suppose theres no chance yall wanna sell all of your sleepy creek longspring traps to a guy in mn ? Lol
I love my long spring traps. In my area I’m the only one who uses them. I think you can still order them from sleepy creek
