All states and all votes matter and count. If any republican or democratic state flipped it could change outcomes. What doesn't seem right is representation of larger populated states where each state no matter the population has 2 senators. A smaller less populated state has better representation than a larger higher populated one.

I live in a blue county in PA….so they say. When I go out, all I see is Trump signs all around me. One Harris sign is all I have seen within a 3 mile radius. When I see this, I am reminded to not be complacent. Seeing Trump signs makes me want to vote blue all the more.
@@Adogslife54 I live in a county that I would say is 40/60 Dems but I live on the edge of suburbia south of Harrisburg, so once I head out it is rural. In town all it is are Harris/Dem signs but in my area a mixture of signs and once you head out a little it is almost all Trump signs. But definitely fewer signs (and flags) and more yards with 5, 6, 7, 8 Trump signs -- either saved or got signs and can't give them out. I saw at least one house that had Trump and McCormick signs and they took down the Trump signs a month ago and haven't put them back up as of last week. Even in the common spots (intersections/insterstate off-ramps) there isn't anywhere near the normal amount of signage for Trump/Repubs. Of course I don't see a lot of Harris signs but there are a few or signs for Bob Casey or "Democracy not Project 2025 signs". So definitely going to be close -- I do what I can with the people I know to get folks out to vote.

Portage County Ohio Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski told residents in a Facebook post to send in the names and addresses of people they see with yard signs in support of VP Harris. Many of those supporters names and addresses were then sent in to the site's public comment section. Now anyone can have access to them. This needs to be a huge story.

I just wanted to drop a line to tell you how much I like your work. I am a 66 year old lifetime Democrat. Thank you Tim Miller and the Bulwark for humanizing the Republican party. Not the strange out of control and out of touch wacko party like the Trump Republican party portrays it to be.
I was a Republican until Reagan, and anybody who remains in that hateful, racist, misogynistic party more than briefly should be ashamed. Sadly the Bulkwark is full of people who cannot quite take Trump but are perversely nostalgic for their mythical good-old-days conservatism.
What needs to happen? A constitutional amendment. Which means a super-majority of states have to support it. Which means you need the support of a bunch of rural red states. Which means you need to be going into those red states and telling them that they need to vote away their power, because California, Texas and Florida know better than them how to run the country. (That's right, Florida.) Then, the day you succeed, that's the day the battle for the presidency flips to those three states, because together they are 1/3 the US population.

I live in a blue county in PA….so they say. When I go out, all I see is Trump signs all around me. One Harris sign is all I have seen within a 3 mile radius. When I see this, I am reminded to not be complacent. Seeing Trump signs makes me want to vote blue all the more.
@@Adogslife54 I live in a county that I would say is 40/60 Dems but I live on the edge of suburbia south of Harrisburg, so once I head out it is rural. In town all it is are Harris/Dem signs but in my area a mixture of signs and once you head out a little it is almost all Trump signs. But definitely fewer signs (and flags) and more yards with 5, 6, 7, 8 Trump signs -- either saved or got signs and can't give them out. I saw at least one house that had Trump and McCormick signs and they took down the Trump signs a month ago and haven't put them back up as of last week. Even in the common spots (intersections/insterstate off-ramps) there isn't anywhere near the normal amount of signage for Trump/Repubs. Of course I don't see a lot of Harris signs but there are a few or signs for Bob Casey or "Democracy not Project 2025 signs". So definitely going to be close -- I do what I can with the people I know to get folks out to vote.

I think it’s helping that Kamala just kind of walks around random small towns and isn’t rushed and talks to people. It’s humble to go and flat out try to earn votes.

Portage County Ohio Sheriff Bruce Zuchowski told residents in a Facebook post to send in the names and addresses of people they see with yard signs in support of VP Harris. Many of those supporters names and addresses were then sent in to the site's public comment section. Now anyone can have access to them. This needs to be a huge story.

What needs to happen to rid ourselves of the electoral college? How long do women & minorities need to be in power for that to happen? VOTE 💙
What needs to happen? A constitutional amendment. Which means a super-majority of states have to support it. Which means you need the support of a bunch of rural red states. Which means you need to be going into those red states and telling them that they need to vote away their power, because California, Texas and Florida know better than them how to run the country. (That's right, Florida.) Then, the day you succeed, that's the day the battle for the presidency flips to those three states, because together they are 1/3 the US population.

If the Electoral College remains, it should not be winner take all. Why does a candidate get all 19 Penn votes with only 51% of popular vote in that state? That means 49% of voter's wishes are ignored!!!! That's not fair. The 19 electoral collage votes should be allocated to candidates based on what the voters said. Better yet, eliminate the Electoral College.

Erie County is a huge area to gain & national barometer for split counties in PA.

I live in Oklahoma City in one of the most red states, and I drove down my street today to see 3 Harris/Walz signs. Not that I think Trump is gonna lose Oklahoma, but it was honestly shocking and shows an interesting shift in tide.
