Hi! I was wondering about rapid movement potenciometer. Company I work for just bought similar machine to this one and I noticed your's also doesen't include rapid movement potenciometer. How do you safely try out if the program works (in the actual part and not simulation or dry run)? We only got the key that limits rapid to 50% but even then it's too fast to react if something goes wrong. It is only complaint we got so far. Is it possible to set parameters for key to limit rapid even more? 10% or so would be about right for me.. Please help me if you know how because im sweating every time I have to run new programs. Cheers!

The rapid on our machines is controlled by the same dial as the feed rate. So we have the students start with that turned way down until the initial engagement and then keep close eye to where its suppose to retract and try turning it back down. It is one very big disadvantage that machine has especially for a school environment

Yes I was talking about the same problem. There is only one dial for rapid and feed. I'm searching for some kind of solution to this but hopeless so far.. Totally agree with what you said. Very big disadvantage to this otherwise fine quality machine.
