    Thank you very much for the video. As someone who lives in New Hampshire with a lot of natural lakes I found it much easier to relate to the conditions and types of cover.

    Fishing surrounded by that much beauty sure helps take the edge off a tough bite. When it becomes a good bite...it's heavenly nirvana!

    That's how you roll. New York loves you E! Great sharing your thinking process. Maybe the next NY breakdowns can happen during other seasons. Tight lines, best of luck the rest of your tourney schedule.

    Just a bit of history for you. Cranberry lake was dammed in 1865 so the stumps you are seeing are actually from that time, which is amazing. They used to be hop poles but now just stumps. It was flooded so they could float logs in the spring down the oswegatchie River.

    Working on a bloopers video? Last week you drop the rod this week almost fall in! Can’t wait for next week? LOL great video. It is about that light bulb coming on to make a great day on the water. Fishing buddy throws a lot of top water gets a swing and a miss never has that back up bait. Say they won’t bite again. Love catching the one that won’t bite again! Always got my wacky rig on the deck.

    I love smallmouth bass they are my favourite species to catch. I like the largemouth but the smallmouth is what I love to catch. I was fortunate enough to catch the South Carolina State Record smallmouth you can look it up if you want. Terry Dodson from Rosman N.C.

    I know this is off subject but u bein a berkley pro I wanted ur opinion. I live in Louisiana so I know nuthin about small mouth but if small mouth are supposedly more of a sight feeder than a large mouth then why do baits with smells like max scent and gulp work so much better with small mouth than large mouth. I know it helps with large mouth too but it just doesn’t dominate like it does up north.

    Want to know how I know these fish are struggling with all the pressure shifts/fronts? I won a tournament this weekend skipping boathouses / docks - pulling out 3-4lb smallies from 2ft of water. The weather in the north is trippin right now.

    I hate frogs - can’t keep them from filling with water even squeezing them out every cast. Anything you’d recommend as an alternative?

    • @itstrizzo
      @itstrizzo 3 года назад

      Change frog brands maybe. They all pull in some water eventually, but should not be every cast. The Spro's I have to squeeze every 10 casts or so.
