    I think this video helpful. No matter you are a professional dancer or just a regular person who is sitting in front of the computer for the whole day, people, especially girls, always want to practices and make their back flat. In another way, it is a solution to shape body and look elegant. Really like this video. I am not a dancer, but I learn a lot of things from this video. Recommend girls, especially teenagers, understand how to practice their body to look elegant.

    Hello, thank you for the lovely video. I understand "up," and I understand the "down" but I cannot figure out what "side" means. I cannot see any sideways motion of the shoulder joint or scapula as shown in the video, and I cannot figure out which motion this would be. Is "side" possibly meant as visual imagery? Would you be so kind as to clarify this? Thank you so much.

    Yeah, thank you again: even though this world isn’t easy anymore...
    This one is easy to me....
    52 two years old (ex dancer) don’t you think dancing: true dancing, is a great metaphor to live life...
    Even if you don’t: thank you again.
    Dancing is incredibly difficult, but this one is easy for me. And I absolutely need that right now....
    Keep up the good work.
    Love you.

      Claudia Dean Coaching Had to stop, based on a major shoulder injury. Seriously bad dislocation of my right shoulder. Ended up with a frozen shoulder which also broke my upper back.
      Back than I kept going on that same technique, until I lost the battle. I bagged the doctors who treated me to give me the same (severe injury again) so it would heal better, this time. They didn’t and told me I healed into their eyes better than anyone else they have seen this bad in only six months.
      I kept dislocating my shoulder many times during the years but have been putting it back in myself (I have a wonderful physiotherapist who told me how to do this without causing to much damage) a couple of years ago I dislocated my shoulder again, this time it was as bad as the initial injury I put it back in and knew immediately it was better then it has been ever before for the latest 21 years: that was in 2011 and it is...
      I worked on it and I am not a dancer anymore (to old) but for other physical reasons have to get back in shape again without taking it to far. My ballet background might not be easy, but it is the best; if I can control myself.
      Thank you 🙏 for what you’re doing, and thanks for that compliment. (I am hardly these days, compared to who I used to be) you are the inspiration.... you are. 🙃😎😘

    A teacher taught me to do a similar excercise 1...but it have to put your arms in like a Bayadere position...hands flexed, palms to the sky and also flexed arms, very squared arms and supported elbows...then go to second position, trying to keep the back and elbows hold and then go to fifth or first, trying to keep everything hold.

    I stumbled across this video and had quite the revelation. I naturally have a very flat back apparently. I was always complimented on my upper body posture by dance teachers. Until I had to have physio after a car accident (nothing too serious, but cracked a rib and one side of my back became stiff after that) and said physio kept commenting on the flatness of my upper back, suggesting that i needed to build muscle. This felt so strange to me! Has anyone else come across suggestions like these?

    • @miscellaneouslife2778

      Hi! I had 33 degrees two years ago and I did isolatory exercises to shift the curve, to rotate the spine which helped with my rib flare, to align my pelvis, and now I’m working on my winged scapula. Look up oblique workouts and focus on the side the curve it convex on to shift it straight and do lots of core stretches

    • @gsahara8405
      @gsahara8405 3 года назад

      @@miscellaneouslife2778 by any chance do you know if that will work for a rotated lumbar? Mine keeps rotating and now the entire left side of my body gets hurt with exercises (even for the arches only) while the right area is perfectly fine

    • @miscellaneouslife2778
      @miscellaneouslife2778 3 года назад

      Grace Sahara I believe it will but including hip stretches will also help with the rotation and your overall stability. I’ve been stretching my hips(straddle, double pigeon with arms in front, butterfly, and splits) for maybe two months and it fixed something because my hips are in line as opposed to tilted(one leg looking longer than the other). What my experience with stretching and exercise has taught me is that scoliosis affects many areas of the body that need individual attention to ease the situation(the curves and rotation). I hope everything works out, let me know how it goes!
