- 2014 was a year of shifting directions musically. After years of wonderful immersion in the blues and roots acoustic world it became time to not only spread his rock wings but also to shift lyrically into the world of nature connectedness. One Giant Farm was the sharp end of the wedge that would eventually lead to the Mother Earth project and the Earth Concert.

@survivormanLesStroud this is a great song and thank you for all your years of teaching and being 100% genuine. 💯 You have many gifts and I always wonder if you would ever do another survivor show but if you'd ever consider taking a guest. Like I said you have many gifts just with your tone of voice and your realizisiem I believe you may be able to get through to those who struggle in the path of life due to things like addiction and so on and to show them the beauty of life without hard drugs and alcohol. I , we have no idea who you are behind closes doors but I would love to know the natural highs in life by nature. For my kids as a single father of 2 beautiful kids they are my everything and I know there is more to me before its too late as I often wonder if I'll see 2025. Your a soul of one of a kind Les and something to offer in the ways of helping. Maybe asking way too much but I'd love to feel natural high by nature and the love of my kids as the only high I'll or anyone in my shows or much worse will ever need again. We all die but sometimes we can make decisions on how to possibly last longer even if everything is about the unexpected. I'd still rather die sober and high on life and love for 25 seconds rather then another day high one wasted

It hurts to see any doubt because what you produce and have offered to the world is crucially important AND saves people AND makes people think/ examine decisions.
One more additional reason I love your work, especially music, is because it's YOU!
It is clear to me that you are living your life on full tilt and I respect the hell out of you for it.
Evening Mr Stroud and family 🙏 Now I see the inner struggles you have gone thru , You took her advice on singing love than anger , Thus is the making of you ,The original barn version I hear to what has been re mastered in Mother Earth 🌎, and remastered again in vinyl ( not listened to yet)
Nice to hear your inner demons you faced , There is making money from music or making music 🎶 depends on the stage/

facts! wish I knew about his music sooner. Up until recently (like 6 months ago) i only knew him from watching Survivorman growing up but his music is just as amazing!

Simple words can move an idea. Strong words can move emotions. Put those words in a song,..it will move mountains. Les doesn’t climb up mountains, the mountains bow down to him. 🫡
