Well hate to break it to you.
But the Dusk form does look a little different.
If you look closely it has the some of the fur forming in the way of the Midnight form.
Some of parts on it are placed different.
Only the body type is the same as the Midday form.
So in a way it is different but not by much.
Team Luigi There will be a lot of good moments for it to stand on two legs - and if you look at it would probably look exactly like recoloured Midnight if it did, because Midnight only has different colour, pose and back-fur than Midday.
MJM I think it may stand on two legs during battle, maybe? But if GF made dusk bipedal people would be pissed and say it looks terrible and shouldn't be bipedal -.-
Team Luigi dusk form's eyes go blood red during attacks, just like midnight form. It doesn't appear to go bipedal but that's still two things that it takes from midnight form.

MJM they could have added those rock rib cages from the midnight form and transfer them over to the dusk form. They could have also given it a medium length tail instead of the same thing as the midday form. They could have given it droopy ears like the midnght form. They could have done SO MUCH... yet they only changed it's color and added the midnight's hairstyle.

Too bad that it will be an event exclusive form though. They could've made it so that Rockruff evolves into this form when the other 2 Lycanrock's are in your party but nope.

*As much as a Dawn form would be cool, there's just no way because in Japan it's called the "Twilight form" and the umbrella term for Dusk & Dawn is Twilight.*
*Also if and only if the Dawn form dose exist it will be pure Rock type because the Midday & Midnight forms are and CoroCoro confirmed that the Dusk form is also Rock type.*

Here we go. TL,DR at bottom.
12 o'clock is the time when the sun (or moon) is at its peak. If what you're saying is that there are 4 forms of Lycanroc, being Midday, Dawn, Dusk (or Twilight, or whatever), and Midnight, that would make sense that they are each part of 6-hour intervals, which could also apply IRL. Midday would be 12 P.M. to 6 P.M., Dusk is 6 P.M. to 12 A.M., Midnight is 12 A.M. to 6 A.M., and Dawn is 6 A.M. to 12 P.M., which is what you can also see in a circle, like orbits and such. And this is true, as those are the normal times of these "phases". Midnight is the opposite of Midday, meaning that 12 A.M.'s (midnight's) opposite would be 12 P.M., which fits, because the definition of midday is noon. And Dawn and Dusk are well known to be the opposite. The "Twilight" idea also won't hold up because the definition of twilight is the time between daylight and darkness, aka a sunset, which (on the average day) fits between 6 P.M. and 12 A.M. unless it's winter time, but that only applies in other places, because the temperature in Hawaii is about the same yearlong. In this sense, dawn would be "the time between darkness and daylight, aka a sunrise. TL,DR, Midday (aka noon) and Midnight are opposites. Dusk is the time between noon and midnight, and the time between midnight and noon is Dawn. Midday (noon), Twilight (dusk or sunset), and Midnight don't equal out because you would need something between Midnight and Midday, like a sunrise, aka Dawn.

There is no Dawn form since in Japan it's called Twilight Form. Also in Pokémon Sun and Moon there are only 3 time periods shown. Day, Twilight and Night. Sorry dude but there is no Dawn.

Personally I like the Dusk form, I know it looks exactly like Midday but its coloration is just more interesting imo. I hope there is a dawn form that has the same figure as midnight, as I LOVE that design.
Its a Midday Lycanroc slowly turning into Midnightform, thats why its the base of the middayform, the Colors are from the orange sunsetsky and the green eyes from the last sunlight before night which flashes green

If dusk was bipedal, people will be pissed, like how torracat evolved into inceroar. I doubt they'd make dawn. Even if they did people will still be salty and criticize the crap out if it.

The second I saw Dusk Form Lycanroc, I had a feeling a Dawn Form would show up in the future. By the way, that picture you had of a potential Dawn Form Lycanroc is awesome.
I realized 2 things after the released info of not getting Dusk in gameplay & only through special event: 1) They're basically trying to do the same thing with Ash-Greninja, but ruins it with only special event. 2) They only made the Dusk form just to stop the debate of what Ash's will evolve into; half of the fans will have been mad if it became Midday, & the same applies to Midnight, so they chose to make a 3rd form to end the argument

I think that the dawn forme will look more like the midnight forme, but changing some stats and making it faster and maybe more powerful or bulky.
If there would be a dawn form it would have been red but not as dark as the midnight form it would be brighter and a more intense red..
Because the shinys of the Lycanrocs are already in the colors babyblue and darkblue and if the dusk form is orange (a bit more intense colour than the original) then the dawn form has to be an intense red

I feel like I'm the only person who has realised that the rocks and fur around Lycanroc's head makes the symbols of the games. Midday Lycanroc had the rocks to make the sun symbol when looking at it from the front, and Midnight had the fur to look like the moon symbol when looked at from the side, and Dusk form Lycanroc has both symbols, along with the color combination of the two others' coats. This might have been lazy, but it still is representive of what they wanted to show. Plus, this is mostly for the anime and because it's in the anime, it must be in the game.

I have a feeling that they'll open the Dusk Lycanroc lock on Rockruff in the next gen. Kind of like how Zorua/Zoroark was locked behind the M13 Celebi in Black and White, but became freely available in B2W2.
They may bring in a Dawn Form Lycaroc for to go along with the Dusk Form Lycanroc. It's also possible they'll bring out a Solar Eclipse Form & a Lunar Eclipse Form of Lycanroc. The Eclispe Forms, however, would be very rare.
Possibly the Dawn form could be a Rock/ Dark or Rock/ Psychic type.

Yo TTar, "Dawn" form isn't coming. Dusk was an english translation, it's Twilight in Japan. You said it yourself. And with your circle, it's easy to see how the colours can make it Midday, Twilight, Midnight. You have a red line through the middle.
It's not event only. You just need a Rockruff that has the Own Tempo ability and evolve it between 5 and 6. It's also possible to breed for a shiny one with the same ability.

Or the design could just be based on the Maned Wolf, and it looks more similar to Midday Form due to the fact that a Maned Wolf looks more like a Gray Wolf (Lycanroc Midday), than a Werewolf (Lycanroc Midnight).

Interesting fact, in the Pokémon Treehouse (or whatever) showcase of Rockruff evolving into Dusk Form Lycanroc, when said Lycanroc was sent out, its eyes were red, it blinked, and then they were green. Just something interesting.

Winged BluJ Well, really it's a couple of reasons. For one, ever since I saw it the first time, I was never a fan of its design. Just the fact that it's face is completely 2D just seems hard to imagine, and who knows why it would be like that. And it has a weird way of being captured for some reason, even thought it's not a special Pokémon like a legendary or mythical or something. It even requires a key stone. And while Cynthia is one of my favorite Champions, her Spiritomb is WAY overpowered in gen 4. I mean all of her Pokémon are pretty tough, but with Spiritomb having decent stats and no type weaknesses in that game, it was one of the most powerful Pokémon in the game. And to this day it STILL gets loads of recognition like in ORAS where you could catch it at Sea Mauville. And it's lore is just odd. Why are they always made of exactly 107 spirits? That's just strangely particular. And Dark type Pokémon are my favorites, and I like Ghost types too, but Spirtomb just seems like the bottom of the barrel. Honestly Sableye is better in my opinion, it has the same type as Spiritomb but with a design that makes it look like a prankster and a thief all at the same time, and I really like the pokedex entries about it, because they add more character and depth to Sableye. And it has one of the coolest mega evolutions.
Helix The King again if they went for midnights body this would be the same conversation if we do get a dawn form people will just say their retools of the same Pokémon. It's a wolf what more can you do to it to make it look like a subspecies before you enter "doesn't look anything like the others" territory. Midnight is a slightly different midday form but it feels different because it stands on two legs

I just realized after seeing ultra solgaleo and Lunala it is a copy of black and white . Kyurem fuses with reshiram or zekrom to enhance himself. With solgaleo and lunala they are fusing in neo dude to become stronger

How to tell the difference between Dusk form and Midday form:
Dusk form has a tuft of hair pointing where its face points, similar to Midnight form. If a Dawn form were to come, it would not have that tuft of hair making it look like a blue, bipedal Midday Lycanroc with the floppy ears of a Midnight Lycanroc.
