If anyone wants to evolve clamperl for Shell Smash before the elite 4. You can get deepsea tooth from Sharpedo and Deepsea scale from chinchou. Have a Pokemon with compoundeyes at the lead spot to increase the item rate, have the move thief or covet to get the item, make sure your Pokemon doesn’t hold any items. SOS it until you get the item. Make sure to thief the initial Pokémon before sos-ing it that way you won’t waste your time.
Else, you can just sos clamperl until it calls Huntail and Gorebyss.
So literally before the first trial I found a shiny Ekans!, I about shit myself because it was so unexpected to find one so early lol

Alolan Muk is awesome, though-I’ve got one on my main team that I trained all the way from a lvl. 5 Grimer through all of the island trials and Elite Four and post-game to lvl. 95.

my first wild encounter in the pokemon school was a zoura and i had 5 pokeballs, would have flipped if i critical K.O it or ran out of balls,at least i caught it, rotom even says something like "wow i've nvr seen this pokemon"
yeah , after i met the most common pokemon i figured that much, just that because zoura was the first time it proc'd it i thought it was for rare only pokemon
those were rares? wow I encountered and catched most of em in the first time without noticing^^... I completed the poke dex yesterday. Now its time to shiny hunt
The very first Pokemon I caught in Ultra Moon is Buneary & he has been a loyal party member ever since, he even helped me take down Olivia since I wracked up enough beach points & taught him Iron Tail. Oh yeah, he had already evolved into Lopunny by that point. I named him Bugs since it's like the only name that works for a male Lopunny. I also caught some of the other new additions such as Inkay but most just sat in the box. I have not caught a Zorua yet but I should do that, I mostly just run into Magnemite & Alolan Meowth in that area, took me a while until I was even able to get an Alolan Grimer which was on my team for a short while. It got replaced by Zubat since I had never trained one up to Crobat before & figured I should & I did, I named her Barbara & she crushed Mallow's trial for me.
Oddly enough, Bagon was my first encounter in that area. Of course I caught her, named her Sally but I was happy with my team & decided to not put her on. Usually I'm changing up my team as I go through a Pokemon game but a lot of the Pokemon I have on it are ones that I've had since near the beginning. I think the most recent one on there is my Leafeon & I caught her during that first route you can encounter Eevee.
Oh yeah, that reminds me, I definitely should focus on looking for the low encounter rate Pokemon since I seem to encounter the unusual A LOT. I actually ran into three Pichu on route 1 but I guess the second two don't count given I put my Pichu at the front of the party after catching him, he attracted the others. First encounter with a Salandit I had, she was female, caught her & had her on my team for a while but took her off after defeating Olivia since I wanted Barbara back, she's my Crobat by the way, I took her off after doing Mallow's trial. I took Bugs off my team for a very short amount of time since I needed room for the Eevee to evolve her into a Leafeon of which I knew I'd need to defeat Olivia, I wasn't purely going to rely on my Brionne & Lopunny. Also just really needed a grass type, I started with Rowlet in the previous game so it felt weird not having a grass type.
I have most of the Pokemon listed, I'm missing a few so I need to go back for them for sure. Thank you so much for this video. Probably won't go back for them for a while since I'm trying to get through the game right now, just finished up with Aether Paradise, I am so excited to continue.

You landed in the 10% 20 times maybe....
Because 10% doesn't mean on the tenth time you try you will get it. Percentage is a random chance

My favorite pokemon of all time is lucario, Lopunny and zeraora. I'm happy that i can get them both in The game. Also i feel like lucario and Lopunny are counterparts to each other. both have baby form, evolve by happiness and have mega forms are in the same egg group.

Future games need to have beginning areas like ultra sun/moon. I was able to run my team all the way through the game. Only substituted pupitar for metagross once I got the beldum area. Loved having noibat with me, very rewarding when it evolved. Skipped out on bagon and Salamance lol. But they should have an early game dragon every game. I really want an early game dratini.
The thing I didn’t like about ultra sun and moon is some of the aola Pokémon are found SUPER late. Why? Unless it’s legendary or a new dragon then the new games new Pokémon should be easily accessible.
Zorua is absolutely amazing when it evolved into zoroak it’s destroyed ultra necrozma and mewtwo by itself

I got a shiny on my first time I went in there shiny zorua I was like OMG
I was so lucky with Noibat it was really my first encounter in that cave.
Also there's a trainer on route 2's poke center that trades you a Haulucha for a spearow and it's a bargain since it levels up super fast due to it being a trade.

It's so hard to train Noibat until it evolves... And it does that really late unfortunately. It also doesn't learn any dragon type atacks until it evolves... And it's kinda weak until it evolves.
So... I would loved to take it with me in my team to the league but it just doesn't make any sense until it evolves. So sad it's actually damn cool :/

Last month, in Leaf Green, I caught Mewtwo when it had more than three quarters of its health and no status conditions whatsoever with just two Ultra Balls and one plain old Pokéball. And a couple of weeks ago, in Ruby, I caught Regirock with a freaking _Dive Ball_ (that still cracks me up, lol).

If you are wanting to get a noibat quick tip, it’s not worth it, it was such a pain to evolve.

I caught an inkay , zorua , magnemite . I added the event rockruff and got a noibat from a kid in a pokemon center near brooklet hill ( I think he's there ) and chose rowlet for Ultra Moon .
I'm really excited that they added Zoroark, Noivern and Florges - three of my favourite Pokemon - to the Alola Dex! It's a shame that Lucario is still post-game only, though.

You can get a modest nature noibat in a ingame trade for a lilipup.. that extra exp is good for easy lvs..
