    Just right from the first time I heard it. For me it helps me see beauty in the past and understand that life’s high stakes bring meaning to my actions. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I love how it eases in with growing optimism as my life has. 2:22 is where I am now, ready to choose joy not because life is easy or perfect but because I’m capable of choosing it.

    Got to say though, I prefer William Orbit's music when there's a bit more guitar. He's a great guitarist and that's why I love the Hinterland album. It's a great combination of electronic and guitar music - particularly 'Montauk Point' and 'El Nino'. They're two of my favourite tracks ever!

    William orbit, he,s away ahead of his time. Try strange cargo and hinterland. Hinterland is a masterpiece. His label is n gram and he has 4 different singers on each one. He,s very close to beth orton nwho sang on water from a vine leaf. He,s produced every one from orton, finley quay, blur,Madonna but his best stuff is still his own on n gram, check it out, you will not be surprised plus he plays all his own instruments. A master up there with Andrew weatherall and david holmes

      It's actually the lava from an eroded volcano.

    • @29sentz
      @29sentz 4 года назад +1

      @@TheEvilDrR Right! It's the first time ever that lava busted out on it's own, and formed mile-high adjoined hexagonal columns that come stacked up in their individual columns like Smarties candies. All bundled together (like plant fibers do). And splay out near the ground surface (to go WHERE underground?) just like a tree (and a tree's root system). Instead of looking like a pile of loose dog doo-doo or black custard like most oozed out magma does everywhere. The magma was jealous of the trees so decided to shape itself exactly like one. Yeah, that theory is baseless -- and lacks clear observation, and common sense.
      People still want to deny these are old trees? Or is the agenda (and the tag-along goons) still just merely being dragged out to trick people into thinking they're not?
      Lava and magma doesn't do that. Plant cells do though.
      Unless the lava/magma used magic?

    • @TheEvilDrR
      @TheEvilDrR 4 года назад

      @@29sentz What part of "eroded" do you not understand? And yes, lava can take all sorts of shapes, just look at the Giant's Causeway in Ireland. Hexagonal columns there too, for miles. It's simple geo-physics.

    • @29sentz
      @29sentz 4 года назад

      @@TheEvilDrR What part of petrified plant do you not understand? People know lava or magma doesn't behave like that and form intricate plant-like hexagonal shoots that ALWAYS point vertically towards the heavens/clouds/sun (unless they've been knocked over at some point later). Giant's causeway comes apart like pieces of smarties candy. The columns break off exactly (and cleanly, in similar sized blocks, all the way down the column). The blocks are the plant CELLS of the hexagonal columns which are the plant FIBERS of the structure which is the plant STALK (or trunk, of the tree -- which is a plant). Lava doesn't take all sorts of shapes, outside of it's usual and typical ooze-like patterns seeking it's own level (unless in the ocean where it takes on more pumice-form, due to quickly reacting with water and forming more porous broken-off pieces). What you see at Devil's Tower and Giant's Causeway is actually simple biology. Plant biology. Just from a silicon-era probably, seemingly not the carbon-era.

    • @29sentz
      @29sentz 4 года назад

      @@TheEvilDrR Too bad the little sections that break off cleanly from the individual columns (each plant fiber) aren't flavored like cherry or lemon or grape:

      This album, Hello Waveforms, has a few more that sound kind of similar (although TBF, I'm here because Sea Green is my favorite). Highly recommended. Just for my personal taste, none of his other work reached quite that height.
      If you like the album, you could check out The Campfire Headphase by Boards of Canada (try "Dayvan Cowboy") or Far Away Trains Passing By by Ulrich Schnauss (try "Knuddelmaus").

    It's good. Everything William Orbit does is good and it's a beautiful evocative sound. But I don't think it's his best. There isn't a single track on here that made me feel how I did when I first heard 'Water From A Vineleaf' and 'Montauk Point'. They were shiver up the spine moments, whereas as nice as this album is, it just feels a bit 'churned out'...
