Clearing tetris lines as fast as I can. 35.1 LPM
I know this is sloppy tetris. I mostly play to train flow state. This was my third game above a million points and lasted for 37 minutes. I cleared 1311 lines at 35.1 LPM. I use only 3 keys and the drop button so I only rotate in one direction which is inneficent. This is my PR. Played with the mac app Quinn and Ive sped the video up after I clear 100 lines.

CONTINUED INCIDENT DISCUSSION: I noticed that after a sharp brake input, the effects of down planing subsided momentarily. We began falling side by side and noticeably more slowly. Then I began looking downwards and saw power-lines. I imagined us hanging over the power lines a few feet from the ground neither electrocuted nor smushed from impact. This was a short-lived thought as we were moving over the ground at enough speed that it seemed we would land in the field. I then began trying to time the brake input to the quickly approaching ground hoping to not be down planing on impact. This altered our descent rate enough to be visible in the track-log, from its best at 4m/s to its worst at 7m/s. I began to prepare myself for impact, willing myself to stay solid and PLF. After the minute and 30 seconds/500 meters we spent on a reserve ride, we collided with mother earth, where there was a 25-30 km/hr wind. It was a hard impact (between 4-5 m/s at -25km/hr), and immediately my right foot and butt/lower back did not feel good. We were being dragged downwind, inconsistently but sometimes at a rate of 10km/hr, through soft dirt. During this dragging I did enough of a self-check to continue trying to regain control of the situation for lack of any other option. At first I started to unbuckle (wanting to separate myself from the situation to do a better self-check) but as the dragging continued I realized the need to disable my reserve was greater. I did so by pulling in one of the brake risers until I had fabric; it took determination and a couple tries. Meanwhile I was also yelling at the other pilot to do the same. By this time we had been dragged 50-75 meters and were approaching the end of the field. I yelled at the other pilot to disable their reserve as we were still being dragged. I stood up, still somewhat tangled, and continued trying to unbuckle. A gust yanked his reserve and our whole tangle, and knocked me back over. I was worried that if I took my body weight out of the situation the whole mess might start blowing away at a speed that I couldn’t outrun. A truck with two locals pulled up and we both yelled at them to help out by grabbing the reserve. I had freed myself from my harness and grabbed my hook knife, with two locals on scene I felt confident the other pilot and all of our gear would not blow away so I quickly limped over and sliced a few of his reserve lines so that it could be disabled by hand with help from the locals. It was at this moment that all steps in my reserve toss procedure had been completed. We were now safely on land and in control. I saw my radio entangled in the mess of his lines. I went over to the radio and saw that it was working, and reported to pilots overhead our pilot numbers and that we were alive but needed assistance. The voice which came back on the radio was a friend and this was comforting. I realized that I was talking quite fast on the radio and verbally acknowledged this while actively slowing my speaking down. It was then that I began to feel intense emotion and deep frustration. I started crying and I threw my helmet in relief and release. I regretted wearing a white shirt that day as it was no longer white due to the dirt. My underseat water storage had burst on impact and soaked some of my instruments and much of my legs and harness which were now muddy. I asked the other pilot what had happened, and he said that he had spun his wing to avoid someone else. I berated him for not having a hook knife or the competence to disable his own reserve. I was left with a very bruised heel and a non-displaced fractured sacrum. This has inhibited my mobility and sitting comfort though I am healing and nine days later am starting to walk without a limp. The other pilot was okay, with a scraped and bruised arm as far as I have heard. I have a clear memory of the events, but the video is an important piece of understanding and I am thankful that it exists. I am most surprised that we spent a minute and a half under reserve - it felt much shorter than that. I am grateful for the training I have completed, which allowed me to be ready and not panic during this unfortunate and mostly unavoidable event. Since I am not gravely injured, I have not had the critical and unpleasant post traumatic rumination about what I could’ve done differently in order to achieve a better result. Since I am not at fault, I have not had the opportunity to beat myself up for public carelessness or lack of training which could have seriously hurt others. For the sake of collective education, there are a few things I have wondered about since the incident. After not hearing from the other pilot during the reserve ride, I discarded the idea of throwing my second reserve. However, it was not wise to rely on verbal communication. He could’ve been passed out or panicked, and lack of communication is not a good reason to discard potential solutions. If I had thrown my second rescue, it would have likely slowed our descent rate further. It might have resulted in a softer landing which could have made disabling the reserves while being dragged easier, even if the dragging would have been faster. I also wonder about slicing my wing’s risers, which would have left us to endure separate fates…. me alone underneath my steerable reserve with a hook knife and him with two crumpled wings and a PDA rescue with no hook knife. While I somewhat wish I had taken this course of action for the sake of my own body, it is likely fortunate for him that I did not. In conclusion: I am intensely grateful to be alive and okay as I am. So much could have gone worse. Despite never having experienced a midair I held myself together to the best of my ability in a moment that was very scary and for that I credit significant mental preparation and acrobatic training.

Sick high stack clean up at 2:44, really smooth L slide at 5:56, when the song drops that phat dub breakdown at 6:17 I really felt like I was in the game Like i was a T piece or something. Loved the square slide at 14:57, big fan. The high stack rally at 19:45 had me on the edge of my seat, I couldn't even eat any more popcorn my hands were so sweaty. The computer really screwed you at 20:08 with bad pieces otherwise it looked like 2 mil easy

Got to say though, I prefer William Orbit's music when there's a bit more guitar. He's a great guitarist and that's why I love the Hinterland album. It's a great combination of electronic and guitar music - particularly 'Montauk Point' and 'El Nino'. They're two of my favourite tracks ever!

It's good. Everything William Orbit does is good and it's a beautiful evocative sound. But I don't think it's his best. There isn't a single track on here that made me feel how I did when I first heard 'Water From A Vineleaf' and 'Montauk Point'. They were shiver up the spine moments, whereas as nice as this album is, it just feels a bit 'churned out'...
