With the recent devastating fires in Lahaina on Maui my mom and I have cancelled our trip and I have decided to donate 10% of my website sales from now until the end of August. Fellow woodwork Nate from Five Peak Mountain Company lives on Maui and has been working tirelessly, like so many others, to get resources like water, propane, cooking stoves, etc to those effected.

I love your new intro, Amanda. I lived in an apartment most of my adult life and I loved it. I still miss it. I lived on the 3rd floor of an old Victorian house. If I reached my arms up on the little rooftop, I could reach the trees. I never wanted to be married and kind of isolated myself. Then I met my husband and got married at 41. No children but have a dog and 3 cats. Please never feel shame about sharing a space with your mom. If a guy doesn't like it then he's the wrong guy! Never forget that. My kitchen is about your size and no dishwasher either. The struggle is real. Lol. I read the other day that washing dishes burns calories😊

I use an ice cream scooper for my watermelon and cantaloupe. It works great.
I don’t like anchovies but do like sardines. You just gave me the great idea of adding them to my salad. I have three grown daughters with their own families and I live by myself and struggle with meal prep for one. Your dog and cat are adorable. I do not currently have a pet but I have a senior grand dog and enjoy my time with her. She is my best friend. ❤️🤗
I got married at 35 and never had kids as I didn’t want too. My cats were my children but I’ve lost them and now my husband so I’m selling my house and moving into a small apt near my sister in another state, I’m a homebody and I have many autoimmune diseases so all I need when settled is a cat to make me happy again. Pets are the best , very therapeutic. That salad looked delicious and I love anchovies. Did you use any dressing? I too will be so sad when we can’t get watermelon
