I was at this game. Section 204, row 15, seat 6. This was a real rollercoaster of a game. Great start with Nico's leadoff homer, then Busch forcing the fielder's choice to get Tauchman home, Taillon striking out seven. Once the relievers came in, things almost fell apart. That's been a problem for the Cubs so far this season. Do some work in the bullpen, and the Cubs will become the team to fear in the National League. They say "You Have To See It"...and I did. Live and in living color!
This team a reliable bullpen away from running away with this division. Got plenty of offense and the starters are doing their job. Gonna be active for middle relief arms around the trading deadline
CHOCAGO cubs Easily are the best Team in Baseball so Far this Year and hopefully this Team will get things together and show everyone how much theyge improved and will make the playoffs !!!!

Dansby Swanson is NOT worth $28M per season. Can't catch the ball at 2nd base, and is now batting .218. And what's up with that lob toss to 2nd base to end the game? Does his arm hurt? Overrated!!!

Cubs bullpen has some serious issues,,, Leiter is good but I’m not sure about the others ! Every time we go to the bullpen I’m always feeling like the other team is about to score at least 5 runs ! If this is what we have to work with ,,then the season is over with,,,no reason to get excited for playoffs cuz we don’t have the bullpen to compete!
Probably looking into trade later in the season. I was quite amazed why last year we did not get a bullpen. We were doing well and bullpen was the only issue. Alzolay was killing as a closer too.

Leiter is very good and the best part is he is unhittable against lefties. Daniel Palencia has the makings of a closer and should get more looks but hes young and needs to get used to high leverage situations. Neris isnt a reliable closer but its the best option have at this moment. Things will get better cubs nation, be patient!
