@@soulknife20 it’s been REALLY bad the last month though. These were the stats after Sunday’s loss to the Padres. In the last 30 days they scored 74 runs in 23 games which was a MLB low. 18 HRs which tied the Nats for a MLB low, 2nd lowest OPS at .622

That curveball is ridiculous, how does somebody get fooled that easily? I guess Kerry Wood had a similar curveball that you wouldn’t think anyone would swing and they can’t help themselves. Hopefully we’re seeing the same type of talent as long as he doesn’t get injured this guy in the rotation since we don’t have a real power pitcher

That curveball out of the strike zone is pretty frustrating… If you’re a hitter you’re not sure what’s coming and it looks tempting but so out of the strike zone..
AJSS is shaping up to be a solid part of the rotation. He's got solid stuff. Kelenic honestly needs more playing time. Starting to not be a fan of the platooning. However, Duvall is still a solid player

What is happening to the cubs

Yeah, the contrast from 2023 is stark for these 3, but let's keep in mind that 2023 was beyond exceptional.
The quality is still the same though, top players like that will bounce back.
And Riley has obviously still injury issues.
I'm not really all that worried about it at this point. Of course i'd love to see them back to their usual selves asap too.
