Great video. Was having problems lifting my back wheel up but came across this video and finally got my back wheel up . Now it's just putting it all together..
team work make a dream work :) love the video, ya'll are awesome ! thanks for the tip! because I'm learning and this is my first time riding a BMX (last time I rode a bike was when I was 12 years old) lol
I loved the video. I've veen trying for about a month to do a decent bunny hop but all I feel like Im doing is yanking the tops of my arms near the tricep. No matter how hard I try I cant seem to get that front wheel up high enough for my liking. Do I have to lean back a lot as well?
Oo, there could be a few things. The timing of actually jumping whilst pulling the bars up and lifting with your feet is important. Can you record a few attempts and tag me or dm on instagram? @bmxbanditscott
@@bmxbanditdude hi Scott, I certainly will and I'll follow you on there. Apologies I've been a bit sick this last day or so but once I'm back on the bike I'll take a video and show you..cheers
Great video bro! How many minutes a day do you suggest to practice for? I'm 13 and I'm trying to learn how to b-hop but it's taking a long time. Also, Love the confidence and how encouraging that little girl is
When landing a bunnyhop, or landing a jump in general, how much weight should you be applying to the handlebars? Is it best to keep all the weight in the center and use legs to absorb only?
That helmet won’t save your noggin. Tbi is not joke wear a proper fitting helmet. helmet. Tbi has cause my love to be miserable. I got tbi as a kid and at war. Trust me you don’t want tbi it messes with your mental health.
Hey Rob, traumatic brain injury is absolutely no joke and you are right, wearing a proper fitting helmet when out and about riding will definitely help if you stack. Seth over at berm peak ( @SethsBikeHacks ) just released a really great video about wearing helmets. Cheers Rob 🤙
Probably the best tutorial of the bunny hop I've seen yet. Keep it up fella. 👌
Hey, thanks! Let me know if I have missed anything 🤙
The GODFATHER OF BMX be flyin'
Those are big words there 🤩 Cheers buddy

You'll get there! Consistency is key. Cheers Jessie🤙
I did it in one day .... that first step was the key that no other videos show! Thanks so much
Brilliant. You'll be doing 360s in no time 🤙
thank you so much it helped alot! i was stuck on lifting the back wheel up then you pointed out leaning forward and i can not do a bunny hop
Hey, glad the video could help. Nice one🤙
Awesome video. My bmx bike is heavy but I am gonna try this and hopefully I will do my first bunny hop
A heavy bike will make you stronger. Then, when you do finally have a light bike, you'll be able bunny hop over a wheelie bin 🤙
@@bmxbanditdude i have been trying and i cant seem to get my back end up while moving
Tip top
Cheers. Pass it on to the little ones🤙

Hey! Not too long. Maybe 10 mins tops? Consistency is more important. 10 mins a day-every day. You’ll be jumping up stairs in no time.
dont quit bro keep practising, i got my bmx at 11 but quit after i was struggling with tricks now im 16 and im learning the basics again
Remember that repetitive tiny motions, like shown in this video, will help you improve everything.

Hmm, I must say I have never really thought about this. I might ask the crew and see what answers they come up with. I shall get back to you 🤙
