If Amazon leave a package on your stoop or hallway and you don't get it within 5 minutes it will disappear, plenty of cars getting broken into all the time, shoplifters raiding stores all over the place, stuff like that is what I mean by petty crime.. And this I know to be true by just observing and hearing about what goes on in my own neighborhood.. Homicides were defintely worse back in the day though..

Theft from vehicles are up. A couple of years ago I had some steal two tires and wheels. I had my passenger side window broken into and had my two side view mirrors stolen 4 years ago. NYC is being destroyed. Sooner or later people are just to pick up and leave. I still have 4 -5 years until I leave this city forever.
