I enjoyed your instructions. Many instructors talk 90% of the time with just 10% illustration. Your way of instructing as you illustrate is more informative and keeps me from guessing during my exercises. Thank You.
Thanks for explaining the anatomy and function of the muscle with the video of its different forms of movement, it is very important to know these things.
I stumbled upon this while looking for a descriptive video covering how to activate the lats because my right side is weaker and I always have trouble establishing the mind/muscle connection. This was very informative with regards to technique and I can now activate my right side lat :)
Great, instructional video that actually explains the function of a muscle instead of simply claiming "do bent-over dumbbell rows for SUPER WIDE SUPER THICK COBRA LATS"... Fact is that ALL you need to know is what the functions are and you can figure out the rest on your own. Thanks for the video buddy keep up the good work!
being a scientist, I really enjoyed the way you present your tutorials: brief, to the point, referring to scientific literature and most importantly, without all this bullshit and unsolicited ads you get in other fitness tutorial vids. Keep up the good work.
Wow. Legit such a good video im blown away you only have 30k subs. After watching the vid i honestly think the only explanation for that is the thumbnail and/or your intro. Otherwise such a good vid you should have millions of subs
I subscribed. I like how you train, and teach at the same time. Been in the gym for a minute (ME). But I can watch you. Cause, you really no how to train! RESPECT...PEACE
Vin Narcissistic what does being on steroids have to do with having good form? Anybody can have good form dumbass you don’t have to take roids to have good form wtf 😂🤦♂️
thank you , i am a medical student , an occupational therapy in presice, which makes me knowledgeable about the human body and it's structure . i also like to exercise at the gym , you helped me , my regards . P.s can you tell me the program's name you illustrated the anatomy with please , i"ll be appreciated.
Well structured and informative video! But one of the exercises isn't completely properly explained: At minute 5:20 the seated cable row. The wide grip isn't as good as the narrow grip for lattisimus. In a row movement you wanna do a shoulder extension... this works best if the elbows are close to body (narrow grip). With wide grip there is more focus on rear deltoid, trapezius and rhomboids (squeezing the scapula back together). In vertical pull movements like the lat pull down you wanna get a pretty wide grip. Sorry for bad English...
Your English is excellent! I agree with you that in a row you wanna do shoulder extension. However, the lats do extension and adduction of the the shoulder joint. Thats why I said I a WIDE grip is (slightly) better because it does adduction AND extension. But I think that the difference between a narrow or wide seated cable row is very minimum in terms of lats involvement. They are both good.
Hi Theo, I love everything of this workout. . . except that I do it at home and I need you PLEASE, PLEASE do some exercises with free weight. I am pushing 60 and I have always had a great back, but now I have to workout with weight on keeping it fit and looking good. PLEASE do the video with free weights. Thank you!! October 24/18

Vin Narcissistic I don’t think you know what “good form” means
Hector Hernandez 😂😂😂😂
Having good form and good technique has nothing to do with steroids man. It has to do with avoiding injuries and using your muscles correctly..
..... I love to directed of the grips, such as the thumbs!!!
7:07 “don’t do light weight like I’m doing, this is like nothing. “ 😂😂

Try to keep your abdomen in and maintain the drawing in maneuver while doing the exercises. Especially pull ups.
