    I enjoyed your instructions. Many instructors talk 90% of the time with just 10% illustration. Your way of instructing as you illustrate is more informative and keeps me from guessing during my exercises. Thank You.

    Great, instructional video that actually explains the function of a muscle instead of simply claiming "do bent-over dumbbell rows for SUPER WIDE SUPER THICK COBRA LATS"... Fact is that ALL you need to know is what the functions are and you can figure out the rest on your own. Thanks for the video buddy keep up the good work!

    Try to keep your abdomen in and maintain the drawing in maneuver while doing the exercises. Especially pull ups.

  • @todesveteran5990
    @todesveteran5990 7 лет назад

    Well structured and informative video! But one of the exercises isn't completely properly explained: At minute 5:20 the seated cable row. The wide grip isn't as good as the narrow grip for lattisimus. In a row movement you wanna do a shoulder extension... this works best if the elbows are close to body (narrow grip). With wide grip there is more focus on rear deltoid, trapezius and rhomboids (squeezing the scapula back together). In vertical pull movements like the lat pull down you wanna get a pretty wide grip.
    Sorry for bad English...

    • @theoisback
      @theoisback  7 лет назад +1

      Your English is excellent! I agree with you that in a row you wanna do shoulder extension. However, the lats do extension and adduction of the the shoulder joint. Thats why I said I a WIDE grip is (slightly) better because it does adduction AND extension. But I think that the difference between a narrow or wide seated cable row is very minimum in terms of lats involvement. They are both good.
