Yeah, quite frankly I found it over-edited and too busy for Marss' style - even the music, though good music in itself, didn't really fit this - Ultima's editing style will throw in jokes/edits with great taste and timing but allow a lot of things to speak for themselves. I noticed Ultima is editing less on marss' channel, maybe s/he is swamped? Either way, I like the variety but this wasn't my fav vid personally.

I think if the editor looked at some of ultimas for direction and inspiration then added their own spin it could fit really well.

I believe that this editing is amazing. It’s a very enjoyable video to watch and this editor is great. People who are angry over one video and it not fitting Marss “vibe” are just nitpicking and don’t realize how long this stuff can take/how enjoyable it actually is. I will say that this style of editing will not work when Marss is doing a FT10 or hanging out with one of the Chippys. The solo videos deserve this amount of thought and effort though.

Man, you know what I legitimately just realized. The smash scene is dwindling harder now than it ever has in the past. Between the huge hit we all took where apparently the entire Ultimate scene was a closet pedophile, all the top-down interference from Nintendo with Melee, people starting to Mod melee with new characters making it feel like a new Project M in the making, idk man. Content Creators, whats left of them, are orienting their content for younger audiences, idk. What happened? I remember being 14 learning Melee on a bootcamped Macbook Pro with an Xbox 360 controller, and like, now here we all are. Someone's gotta save smash..
I do appreciate the SMT IV music but this style of editing isn't what I was expecting and I won't lie I don't really like it. I am just so used to Ultima's editing that it's something that I have come to look forward to every day because it wasn't like anything else's. I think the editor is good but he's paired poorly with Marss. His style of editing contrasts so much and it takes away a lot from Marss' playing and having a goofy and fun time. Ultima at the very least, was able to put Marss in the center of attention while complimenting with his own style.
