That's great, i myself grew up in USofA but from German/Polish blood (still speak both). Drove many 'stangs, mostly when I was younger, but I think just recently Ford started making them quite good, 'though not worth 40k usd for V8, or 30k for a Mazda-motor eco-boost. Maybe in EU 'stangs are a good value but not here in US. What do you think?

I have not drive the Mazda so I cannot compare. In Europe, we look at it in terms of $ and we think it's a very good value. Especially when we compare them to BMWs, Mercs etc. But still, a Mustang has history, personality, a big heart - that perhaps Mazda is lacking of?
It's the only 'car' Ford Motor Co. is keeping so that's gotta say something about the mustang. Just a suggestion but maybe you should compare the Ford Focus ST vs. RS. RS is made in Germany vs ST is made in Detroit. It would be an interesting comparison

Yes. Switzerland is a terrible country for cars. This lady is a great exception, but the Swiss in general HATE cars, and the taxes are big, C02 punishment and so and so on. Being too loud with a car gets you fined, 5 mph speeding gets your in jail. SUPERSTRICT they are.

Aother thing is the lack of good winter tires, I need threads for mud and snow, with spikes, as we have a lot of ice in my area during December through to March (we have 7 months of winter and 5 months of bad skiing...)... and the dimensions of the dear Pony is rather heavily priced... A very different experience with the Porsches, they are much more refined, but there is just sometimes so beautiful about this raw, big American muscle. Head over heels now ❤️
Yup, I love a V8 😎Especially American ones. When I was a teenager all my friends were into 'hot hatches', I was the oddball that had a poster of a '70 Dodge Challenger from Vanishing Point on my bedroom wall. Still a dream for me to own a US car from that period... even though I know they are awful. As you say, there is just something raw about them... and that's cool!

Pretty rare cars but I imagine you'd find some in Switzerland given that they hailed from there. I'm now happily subscribed. : D

Stewart! ☺️I'm back, been a little busy lately :-( I thought I wasn't a convertible lover either, but once I've driven a couple of them with the wind in my hair, boy oh boy, I do love them now! A very different experience with the Porsches, they are much more refined, but there is just sometimes so beautiful about this raw, big American muscle. Head over heels now ❤️

When I was a teenager all my friends were into 'hot hatches', I was the oddball that had a poster of a '70 Dodge Challenger from Vanishing Point on my bedroom wall.
Still a dream for me to own a US car from that period... even though I know they are awful. As you say, there is just something raw about them... and that's cool!
