What I find to be the most important aspect of photography to you is the ability to think. It's great that you constantly stress that in almost every video.
Get Mike's UBC course. and most importantly of all. practice. buying fancy gear is not a way around practice! unless you are looking to become better at buying more stuff, then it is perfect for you.
