Madoka Magica - Sis Puella Magica! | "Magia Moderna" (Cover by Lonovve)

I've always loved this song. I wanted to try singing it and infusing it with a little bit of Death Parade vibes, I strayed from the idea a bit as it evolved, but it has a taste of it.
Since I'm not really a musician I'm not sure about what genre it ended up in (probably the same as the original). But I tried to incorporate waltz, jazz and funk elements to try to live up to the original's magical atmosphere.
I like the witch's labyrinth vibe on the convoluted instrumentals (even tried reproducing that on the art), but that might me making an excuse for not knowing how to mix well lol. Also, the male vocals kinda go against the all-feminine magic of the anime, but I still liked it in the end.

Eu sempre amei essa música. Eu tentei fazer um remix e fundir um pouco com a vibe de Death Parade mas a medida que fui esculpindo o som foi desviando dessa ideia.
Não sou músico então não sei em que gênero musical essa música entra (provavelmente próximo ao da original). Mas tem elementos de valsa, jazz, funk pra tentar reproduzir a atmosfera mágica da composição original.
Eu gostei da bagunça no instrumental porque deu a sensação de "labirinto de bruxa" (tentei até reproduzir isso na imagem), mas também pode ser eu fazendo a linha porquê não sei mixar direito kjjjj.

I'm a year late, but in your description it says that you don't know what genre it is. To me it sounds like a glitch funk classical fusion.
As a quasi-musician myself, I say, don't worry about it. I sure don't! :p
Genres are just labels for your music like a name, it doesn't matter what you call it as long as it sounds cool. ^_^
