Finally someone technical doing one of these...

@Restalgia this is FIRE !!! 🔥🔥🔥 That tenchu theme 🔥🔥🔥🔥⛈ 🙏🏽 autobleem the way rn !!
For everyone noticing a pixelated image of the emulator when using Autobleem:
The reason for this is that the linear smoothing filter was disabled by default. You can turn it back on by enabling "GFX Filter" in the Autobleem settings.
A hotfix that enables it by default will be uploaded shortly.
Very helpful. Thank you sir
This release is finally what I needed!! Very good video btw!! Ta
Btw file to folder works same way with bin-cue files as pbp ones?
As I got all my games in bin-cue format
Checking this out asap
Nice tutorial ! thx
Steve you are freaking awesome thank you I will come to you first always shows you really care 😉
I appreciate that, and the support. :)
@@Restalgia cool
thanx it worked for me
Steve, do you have to uninstall Bleemsync before implementing this new hack, or can it be run over the top of it? Many thanks.
No you do not need to uninstall bleemsync, you can implement this hack right away.
Its crazy how Bleem came full circle. Years ago it got crushed as Bleemcast but now it got resurrected thanks to the Classic.
It's just (almost) the same name. Different product.
Got it all working and thanks, but one small question: The sound in my games are constantly popping and the music sounds a bit distorted. I tinkered with the Interpolation settings, but I can still hear it. I do use a soundbar on my TV, so not sure if that's the issue or not. Should I use Retroarch or will this still be the same result?
When I try to download AutoBleem from the provided link it says "Failed - Forbidden." Is there any way to get around this?
Hi im just wondering in your opinion is Bleemsync or AutoBleem better ?? I have Bleemsync 1.0 as followed by your video but im seeing alot of videos all over RUclips showing AutoBleem. And ive also noticed people saying Bleemsync 1.0 has had problems. I personally havent had time to sit down and play the games ive installed on 1.0 so i dont know of any issues, just thought id ask for your opinion. Thanks for all the great helpful videos 👍🎮
Many thanks for the great and informative video. My question involves coverart. Is coverart dictated by the name of the game specifically, or by the data within the bin/cue files? For example if I rename a bin/cue does the system still know what game it is for artwork assets?
I was curious, after you loaded the games into the USB drive. Where did the original 20 games go? Is it still accessible or is it gone completely?
The original 20 games as still on the internal memory of the console. Autobleem as a hack is all running on your usb stick and in no way effects the internal memory of the playstation classic, so if you ever wanted to play the stock console, all you would need to do is unplug the ps classic, remove the usb, plug it back in and power on. In the latest Autobleem build 0.6 beta 2, they have integrated the original 20 games to come through the hack so they are visible on the game selection screen. Check out my latest autobleem video :)
Hi, nice tutorial. Is there a program that converts Iso to pbp? or a site to download pbp files?
hey man how do you swap discs?? it doesn't work the way retroarch does. when i try to disc swap i only see 1 disc in the disc image swap menu..
Did you figure this out? Is it possible ?
Thank you so much for this video, everything is working wonderfully! Just one question; is there a way to play Ape Escape with a DualShock 4 through AutoBleem without RetroArch?
8 bit do stick
Nice video Restalgia, I apreciate your work about every mini console. I have a question, I made the mod about power supply in second USB, so i connected a External HD 2.0, for games that are bin and cue extension works fine, but PBP files doesn´t boot, is there something that i´m doing wrong?
Quick question when I load a game I notice some games with cgi intros or anime intros has a skipping is there a fix? or could it be the usb drive I’m using thanks
Right now that's par for the course. Try running it on retroarch with the optimized core, but I'd imagine you would have the same results.
All my games are bin/cue, no pbp, is that OK? Do I just move them? Thanks
bin/cue work just fine, but with each game in its own folder of the same name as the bin/cue files.
@@RoyKaBob Each bin/cue file has a slightly different name. If I have Blast Chamber (USA) (Track 01) and 21 other files ranging from track 01 to track 22, do I just name the folder Blast Chamber (USA)?
@@Tylerson yep
@@RoyKaBob you can do it without writing (USA)
Thank you so much!! How can I access the boot menu (I'd like to play some of the pre-installed games but the NTSC versions, obviously) now?
You can only use .pbp files if you had previously installed bleemsync 1.0 on your psc right? Will the program you used to automatically make folders for each game work with bin / cue files as well?will it put the corresponding bin and cue files in the same folder for each game?
can you play two players using a HUB USB for the Pendrive and other control?
I could only get mine to work with the USB memory stick plugged into the left port and the controller plugged into the right port.
Can't see the file2folder GUI link in that description(?)
Btw, in game regions "E" isn't short for "UK", it's "Europe".
LOL yeah thats fair, i'll make sure going forward I use the correct terminology!
@@yeeter3786 SCES or SLES is the region code for Europe on Playstation discs. e.g. SCUS is North America (USA). psxdatacenter.com/pal_list.html

It works for me usb 2.0 and 3.0 format to fat 32 just got the psx this Tuesday
What is the recommended USB stick size and how many games before things start to slow down?
i see usb stick 128 gb that work fine with almost a full usb stick
and other wise you need a power suply
Good work, but I have a problem, when I installed autobleem 0.5.0 the boot worked, now that I have updated to 0.5.1 it does not work and start the original boot, how can I solve it? Thk
Hi Metro, in the description there is a link to the autobleem discord. Join the discord, they have a support forum which you can get direct help for the developer and his team. :) they will get you all squared away
On the full downlaod, when u extract it it gives u the autobleem folder and a folder called Macosx. Do u need the extra one or can you delete it since it has duplicates of the main one?
Finally done,
I installed GTA 2, Crash Racing, Castlevania, Driver, Tony Hawk Skater 2
Any other recommendations?
Spiderman! Classic
Just got mine to work after a couple of usb drives. My problem was I couldn’t format my drive to fat32 only exfat. It NEEDS to be fat32. If you google how to format to fat32 there is a program you can download to format your drive to fat32. After weeks of frustration this is what worked for me.
I have a Sansa Blade 32gb flash drive that I bought at Walmart around XMas and it works fine with PSC and Autobleem. But I've bought another 32gb and a 64gb from Amazon but neither works with PS Classic. Not sure what's wrong or why they won't work.
Do all usb 2.0 brands work because I have a ogg Walmart brand one did it exactly like you did in video and it doesn’t boot up
Same problem 16gb
Nice video again. But where are the 20 pre installed games??
Autobleem has taken the route of not pulling the stock games into the autobleem ui. You can always go into the stock ps classic ui with the pre build 20 games by pressing circle from the autobleem boot menu.
@@Restalgia thank you for clearing that up. In a way this is better not having to deal with the stock games that you wont play anyways. I Like the way autobleem lets us put games directly on the USB. Big plus compared to Bleemsync 1.0
Sometimes my thumb drive doesnt work why? If anything go's wrong i have to keep reformating and do everything again its really annoying
👍👍
Good video, test ps2 controller with usb adapter, working good!, but conect my zero delay arcade board usb, not working good...
I'm thinking of switching from bleemsync to autobleem, my question is, is it possible to transfer the save files or the memory card files (even save states if possible) from bleemsync to autobleem?
Yes, I tranferred some save states earlier today. You have to go into the game folder, find the save states folder and move it to the equivalent folder in autobleem. I will tell you, I prolly missed something, but I had to create a save state in autobleem before moving the files though. I assume memory cards would work similarly. Also, there is no save state folder in the individual games folders in autobleem, I believe its in the games folder globally, rather than being local to each game. You go into games, go into save states, find the game folder and replace the existing save state, which is a .res file.
Oh, some games you might want to redo the memory cards anyway, since you can do sharing across multiple discs, for example, RE2, you can put each disc in the games folder individually and they can share the same memory card. This helps greatly with games like Gran Turismo 2. However, I haven't found a way to manage those shared memory cards since they seem to exist outside the normal os. I assume he will add a memory card manager in future releases for the shared memory cards.
I get audio popping noises when changing the frametime and when changing the region and when changing the graphics. Any fix for that?
If you have bleemsync 1.0 installed will autobleem still work
REALLY wish i would have KNOWN about the fat32 thing regarding 64gb+ drives
You can use software to format any size drive to fat 32. Just google fat32 formatter in google
@@Restalgia i tried a couple different programs but i couldnt get it to happen. i bought a 32gb drive and have been using autobleem since so i guess i can try to reformat it again if i run out of space later
What programs do you use to rename all the pbp flies to the game ID
I'm kinda curious as to how the whole thing works. Can I get an invite for the AutoBleem Discord server?
Link is in the description :)
My autobleem lags a bit while loading or change cursor, is it because of a thumbstick incompatible? I really not don't know where did I go wrong, while installing it, because I followed everything by the book
64gb autobleem french package availaible for guyz french if you want nice video !
I wonder if a 128gb would work...
How do you get Autobleem to play Japan region games? Do you have to use the Japanese version on a separate USB stick?
No, if you download the full version of autobleem instead of the US version I downloaded in the video. that will give you access to the Japan regeion artwork files. You can load everything onto the same USB stick
What site did you use to get the games
Any help with this helps: I added about 99 games to the usb stick and it seems that the load up to the games is very slow. I’m using a Memorex 64gb 2.0 usb stick, could it be the stick or the fact that I have so many games on here? Also, if I understood correctly: multi disc games need to be in their own folders? Thanks for the help!
Is it possible to go back to the default game list once you have gone into your downloaded game list without restarting the console?
How are ?multi disc games handled like final fantasy 8, how do you install it
So if this plays all the games with no issues and everything is drag and drop. It's seems like the better pick, right? What am I missing?
I think so. Way more and easier options than Bleemsync.
This is awesome, I like how it all runs from the usb drive. Will this work with an OTG cable thru the micro usb power or does it have to be the controller 2 port? Thanks!
Has to be through the usb port. OTG support would require altering the internal software on the ps classic and these developers are doing their best to not have any alterations to the console itself
@@Restalgia oh, I see. So have to go the USB hub route then, I guess. Was hoping for a clean look, but I appreciate that autobleem is more "plug and play" than using bleemsync (at least currently.)
@@Restalgia Also, another question. I downloaded some psx on psp files and each rar contains the game name and just eboot.pbp. Do I have to extract and rename each one to use it, or am I missing something?
@@robertsnyder4963 it sounds like you would need to rename them. I would try it with one game, and see if it works before you go through all the effort to do the rest
@@Restalgia I think I'm missing a step somewhere. Just extracting the zip files I downloaded to folders, and the games show up but without cover art and get stuck loading @ the Playstation splash screen. Tried renaming the EBOOT file, and the game name shows in the menu but no icon and it won't even try to load...
Edit: Renaming worked after deleting all other files in the folder, just leaving the renamed pbp file. Thanks!
so i did everything the same as you but when im putting the usb without powered on and then im turning it on and the screen its all black and how do i have to transfer the bin/cue files to pbp can you help me please? cause i dont know how transfer them to pbp can you reply asap and help me please?
oh so the usb needs to be plugged in all the time to play? its not like the nes or snes where the hack is put on the system?
So if u r using autobleem, since u have to plug in your flash drive into the 2nd controller port, theres no way to play these added games with 2 players?
Just buy a usb hub
How do you add game systems for retroarch, such as SNES and nes? Where do you put the modules for the systems? Where do you put the games, SNES and nes? Thanks for any info.
I'll be putting out a video showing how to add retroarch to bleemsync and include game locations in that video soon. :)
Will any usb work with any size of the usb drive to make this work or happen?
How do you add Retroarch? Can you explain? Thnx
Download retroarch I used 1.7.5c and add the folder into the root of your USB. Look for the tutorial on this channel
I have two questions, 1 can i remove the usb with auto bleem on it to play with two controllers? And 2 how do i find the pbp files?. Sorry if i seem ignorant or stupid i just recently discovered the whole modding scene for the ps classic.
I have a question. Do I need to do the folder thing if the games are bin/cue file as well? If so, is it the same way as with the pbp files? I'm not very tech savvy, and could definitely use some pointers. Thanks in advance.
Yes
I did exactly what you said but there is JUST 1 PROBLEM, ....where can i get these items on or for a PS classic. I'm in need of such help so i can enjoy the fruits of such play. Really have no current status as to where. If you could reply and help out that would be great.
I followed the direction but evertime i turn on the power it won't bootup to autobleem it goes to the ps logo then games..is there anything i missed?
So from reading the comments, its not necessary to combine bin files, I did that for every game that had multiple bin files, will it still read merged bin files?
Yes it will, but it may not work with multi-disk games. As of right now, I have only tested multi disk games by having 1 bin/cue file for each disk. Multidisk pbp files do not work to switch disks
@@Restalgia Thanks for the reply! *sigh* guess I'll have to check my zip files and see which multi-disc games have multiple bin files
I switched to autobleem and for some reason from 204 games that i have its now showing 20 games. If i go to game manager I can see them but when i scan and boot autobleem it only scans 20 games. Can anyone help me out? My game files are bin/cue
Where do you get your pbp from
Having trouble finding an iso to pbp converter. Do you have a link. Does auto bleem even run any iso files.
I think there is a good converter called PSX2PSP. If you do a google search for that, it should come up. There's a lot of tutorials on RUclips showing how to do it. :)
im not getting any start up screen at all, just going to the factory ps menu. i put the que and bin files into folder, im pointing that out because thats the only that i didnt do exactly the same. is there something imm doing wrong? help please and thank you in advance
lookifyouwant I have the same issue
I have gone through 9 USB drives both 2.0 and 3.0. Yes making a total of 18 drives. What am I doing wrong? please help I have followed everything to perfect acuity.
Do you need to keep the USB drive plugged in to have access to the games?
Noticed that can't see the original 20 games that are preinstalled on the PS Classic!
The 128gb USB drive in your description doesn't work for me. I found an older 4gb laying around that worked with the same setup tho
That's really weird. I am currently using that usb as we speak and have been since I started doing work with the classic.
Might have to do the powermod for the 2nd USB port on your psc. It's just bridging two connections next to the port so that there's not such a small power limit for the port.
@@Restalgia reformat to fat 32 with allocation size 4096
Can autobleem use the retroarch core to emulate games when selecting games through the UI?
Worked great except when I tried using a usb hub to connect a 2nd controller it didn't boot

from where you get the games? you got a site or something?

Enter list disk.
Enter select disk X, where X is the number of your selected disk.

Enter format fs=fat32.
Enter assign.

Any time I rip a PS1 disc, I only get the bin file(s). Does it need cue files for one-track games?
I recommend creating one. If you do a Google search for psx cue generator there is a great site, you just drag your bin file in, and it spits out the data that cue file needs. Just copy that data (text) and paste it in note pad. Then click "save as" and change the file type to "all files" then for the name type in exactly the same as the bin file, except instead of it being .bin, you would type in .cue at the end. Then hit save and you made your own cue file.
