    I wonder if the company name is a play on words with "Drum corps".

      I believe it’s actually a mashup of Tromba and Corno, trumpet and horn, as is shown in their logo.

      @@makinbacon3846 Yes, Josh has it right. The original owners were the principle trumpet and principle horn of the Dallas Symphony.
