I wonder what company paid for this glaring advertisement in Forbes.....perhaps a blockchain that shuts down on the regular and isnt even on the list.
Cardano is deploying steadily and has had zero downtime. My largest holding because of the steady and built right approach. When other chains fail because of their poor design and careless fast paced rollouts dapp devs will move to the Cardano because of its security, decentralization and solid tech! We're still early in this game of adoption!
ICP....seriously, Forbes is taking the p1ss and hoping people actually still pays attention to them. ICP is the future of blockchain!!

@@stevejones9717 ICP is the only all in one solution where everything is built on chain and runs from its chain. No external services from AWS to facilitate things that the native chain can't do itself (eg Solana). ICP is fast, secure, scalable...

Im very disappointed with Cardano. It sounded promising and the price movement is just non-existent.

Cardano will do fine. And no, it's not the next EOS. The charts looks nothing like each other either.
I've owned Cardano...sold it. Charles is slow at development but a good spokesman for the project. His engagement on RUclips is what got it going through the 2020-2021 run. It's just unfortunately not stacking up well against its competitors, and when new money flows in 2025, there likely won't be as much going into ada imo.

From an Eth maxi, I didn't have any doubt Cardano was in pole position
There is no way we can compare Solana (a very centralized and VC-funded and controlled project that has had not just one but MULTIPLE network outages) with Cardano (one of the most decentralized blockchains). Give me a few billion dollars to build a basic blockchain and market it and I’ll make something that’s “bigger” than Cardano too. Cardano, slow progress aside, is doing what it said it would do. It just chooses to focus more on development and infrastructure than on marketing. Maybe they should focus more on marketing, especially at this stage, but there’s legit no reason anyone who cares about the crypto ethos would ever use Solana, especially after that second network outage.
Solana is Vc pumped shit coin, and its smart contracts have been live since its inception. Ada’s smart contracts have been launched a little over 2 years, Ada is far better than solana imo. Time will tell, I hold neither.

It makes zero sense for Forbes to put XMR on that list. We can agree that XMR is a terrible store of value, but thats not its purpose. Fungible money is what XMR is used for. Its the closest thing to cash in crypto. So it makes absolutely no sense to call it a good for nothing blockchain

I tried to hang in there, but I converted it all into another crypto. At this point, I think the price movement of ADA only benefits whales. They have so much money invested that small upward gains are huge money for them to earn. Meanwhile that small movement does nothing for the average Joe

I've only got Theta out of the list. Not selling. Risky but it has huge potential and it's not sitting still. Wait until it is used on Samsung phones as a node for both streaming and as cloud storage. That's main stream adaption right there.

The problem with a lot of this stuff is that no one uses any of it. Utility allegedly might exist, but no one actually uses these protocols.
People use ICP and there's a lot more adoption to come. There's really no competition to it. It's actually more like AWS for example

Not much difference between BTC and BCH other than people saying they like btc better. The code the same, the scarcity the same, it’s the exact same case as bitcoin. Like saying what’s point of another smart phone.
Other than Bitcoin, Ethereum and maybe Solana... Every crypto today can wind up on that list based on your reasoning. It's starting to seem like unless its a new coin/Blockchain, youre better off cashing out everything in the bull market and wait for the new narrative in the new cycle.
I do not have a wife and kids to sail off with, which is why I have money to buy coins with.

Arweave is just about to release a mainnet to add a computational layer on top of its decentralized file storage - meaning applications can be built to use with those files. ICP but without the massive centralization.
Solana is a freaking glitch and CTRL ALT DEL that block chain.

I agree with this list other than ICP & Stacks. I think both coins will do well and will see much larger adoption. I own ICP & Algo from this list, I will probably swap Algo sooner than later when I feel like the time is right.
Happy to say none on my list however this video gives huge insights into wtf we are doing I could add several more to the list but hey old coins tend to underperform in general ! 🤷♂️
