Came here for tips on Insight maintenance and left with much more. You are a truly good person, we need more people like you in this world. I'm sorry to hear about your brother and the other hardships you have been through /are going through. The fact you are keeping your spirits up and still smiling, you're an inspiration. Laughter is the best medicine and being a nice person costs nothing. Thank you
You're such a kind soul. Came here cause of the intriguing title and left with a laughter and a piece of mind. It is folks like you that make this world a better place to live in. Wish you, your friends, and family nothing but happiness, fortune, and prosperity in life.
I gotta say, recently it's been tough because my older brother died of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (blood cancer) and I was trying to get my insight, along with a 5 speed firebird I bought for him, so I could teach him manual. I tried teaching him in my insight but as some may know, if you have a bad IMA it makes the clutch a rather odd beast to tame. I taught him in my insight and told him if he broke it he's buying me a clutch (rather good insurance against someone messing up surprisingly) and when he got the chance to move his firebird, it was exponentially easier to him. Good times to remember. Misery may love company, but damn it is nice to have good days.
Lost my sister ~ twenty years ago. I have a notion our siblings must have collaborated to bring about such positive outcomes for everyone involved. Fun idea & thrilled to have met you today!
Way cool! I must share a similar story from a nearly unemployed young man in the bay area who did odd jobs and had a power deficient old FIAT. He got tired of mean and arrogant drivers nearly cutting him off the road on on ramps and passing etc. He put an old plunger type windshield washer near his foot pedals. When people passed him with evil intent he would hit the plunger and shot soapy water at the car passing him. God Bless you and your family, I remember St. Bernadette said, "the road to Heaven is paved by sacrifice and suffering".

Hallelujah, thanks for carrying that light! Romans 8:18. Very cool mod btw
What make/model rain guards did you find that fit the g1 so nicely?
Gen 6 Civic, here's the link, 1996-2000:

A bit of trimming is needed but they fit nicely.
