- Nicole Kidman and Antonio Banderas arrive at the Venice Film Festival to present their new thriller Babygirl on Friday, 30 August.
The drama, made by Bodies Bodies Bodies filmmaker Halina Reijn, follows a powerful CEO who jeopardises her career and family life by having an affair with a younger intern.
Banderas plays Kidman’s character’s husband and Harris Dickinson plays the intern.
In her director's statement, Reijn wrote: “The affair at the heart of Babygirl allows Romy and Samuel to play out their confusion around power, gender, age, hierarchy, and primal instinct.

Why are all her films similar nowadays? Her having a disgusting affair with someone younger than her. This is similar to the ‘ family affair’ film.
But this is a thriller.... i get what you mean but different genre.
She is an actress. She's allowed to work on any films she is asked for. That's her job. If you don't like it. Tough. She is wonderful in this sexy thriller.👏👏👏👏
A lot of people are liking the Baby Girl movie but I don't get the "point" of it? Mediocre. I was left feeling "is that it? Why?" I just want Kidman to be more, less cartoon like.
