That is quite an incredible story and testament to his character to play for minimum wage when he could have gone to play for Adelaide with more security. He was a very underated part of the threepeat team.
Have watched quite a bit of this man in recent months. He is the real deal in so many facets of life. He will lead so many young sports people and others into greatness, greatness as human beings.
Give him an AO.
We need more of him!
The unspoken thing here is that it's guys like Fly who allow the perennially successful clubs to stay in the hunt and avoid catastrophic "rebuild" periods, you'd wanna get a premiership medal for that.
