Kadambur, also known as Kalkadambur, is a village located amidst the Kadambur hills in Sathyamangalam, Erode District, Tamilnadu. North side from coimbatore almost distance of 100 kms. Traveling time 2 hrs. This village has over 25,000 families presently residing here. With evidence found on the existence of the village extending to over 2 centuries, few indications including license to possess Guns are found that British People have approved and provided pattas for the people here.

தமிழ்நாட்டின் ஈரோடு மாவட்டத்தில் உள்ள சத்தியமங்கலத்தில் கடம்பூர் மலைகளுக்கு மத்தியில் அமைந்துள்ள கிராமம், கல்கடம்பூர் என்றும் அழைக்கப்படுகிறது. கோயம்புத்தூரில் இருந்து வடக்கு பக்கம் கிட்டத்தட்ட 100 கி.மீ. பயண நேரம் 2 மணி. இந்த கிராமத்தில் தற்போது 25,000 குடும்பங்கள் வசித்து வருகின்றனர். 2 நூற்றாண்டுகளுக்கும் மேலாக இந்த கிராமம் இருந்ததற்கான ஆதாரங்கள் கிடைத்துள்ள நிலையில், துப்பாக்கிகளை வைத்திருப்பதற்கான உரிமம் உட்பட சில அறிகுறிகள் பிரிட்டிஷ் மக்கள் அங்கீகரித்து இங்குள்ள மக்களுக்கு பட்டாக்களை வழங்கியுள்ளனர்.
