- Come along with me in an exciting ice-bucket-filling adventure! To make things even more exciting, we get to ride 2 Dover elevators with Impulse to get there!! I'm guessing ThyssenKrupp just replaced the name plates in these since they have older-style Impulse buttons.

By the way Jacob. While you're in Minnesota; be sure to visit Southdale Center as well. If you didn't know; that was the first modern mall in the nation (well enclosed that is). The place opened in 1956 as is perhaps the only originally enclosed mall left in the nation from the 1950s.
Cool thought, but this video was taken way back in June. Thanks for the tip, though.

Welcome to Minnesota... I misread the caption at first and thought we were going to see the ice bucket challenge inside a Dover elevator...

Really odd with how these are setup. The little wall separating them, and as you said, both doors opening in the same direction. Really reminds me of a Schindler setup.
Spooky
My mom: It’s a Dover
My dad: No its a thyssenkrupp
Me: NO ITS BOTH
I have a theory about Dover Impulse elevators with ThyseenKrupp logos. I think that happens when ThyssenKrupp replaces the indicator.
Yep this is definitely a traditional Dover impulse, ThyssenKrupp just put their logo on it
You can also tell be the blue door control plates
I'm going to guess that there will be some Mall of America-related elevator videos coming in the near future :)
If you ever come across a Kwik Trip gas station south of the Metro (Some can be found about 20-30 miles south of Minneapolis in Faribault and Owatonna) there are always Mark VII machines in they're Car washes. There is a Mark VII ChoiceWash in Faribault Minnesota that I know of if you need specifics. Just though I'd let u kno if u r interested.

I think Ive stayed at this hotel. A while back I did a full hotel tour of this place. Its one of my most viewed videos. But if Im not mistaken. The elevator on the right is smaller than the left. Left has a capacity of 2500 while right has 2100. And this hotel is in mendodah heights, not bloomington.
There are a bunch of Fairfield Inns with this kind of elevator in the Twin Cities
This would be the perfect meme!
It was obviously installed in 2000/01 due to the Thyssenkrupp logo. However I don't see how that arrow could wear off that quickly
Incorrect. The nameplate was replaced.
My school has these!
