Vector the Crocodile was one of the many Sonic heroes to be introduced in 1995’s Knuckles Chaotix. While the game didn’t get the hype it really deserved - thanks to it be released on the unpopular Sega 32X console - Vector the character has managed to endure the years and become a beloved supporting character, appearing in 25 games either as a playable character, in a cameo, or as an unlockable trophy. So today, we’re diving deeper into this character, from his humble beginnings, to what he’s been up to these days with our list of the top 10 Vector the Crocodile Surprising Facts!

I always loved Vector cause he fused SO many traits that make a loveable brute. He's big and loud, often butting in and giving his two cents at the drop of a hat. But even still, he's a good man.
People often forget that Vector is 20 years old, making him the oldest hero in the sonic franchise (Shadow may technically be 50+ years old, but he was in stasis for almost all his life). Despite not being able to fit in too well with the rest of the gang, he still gives everything he's got into protecting and helping others. It's no secret that Vector is almost always in a tight spot with money in the games/shows he appears in, often caused by spending most of his time taking free jobs for people in dire need but can't afford to pay.
Even though he's a bit of an arrogant hot head and a loud mouth, he's still incredibly intelligent. He's canonically the best detective in the Sonic universe, often seeing through the Villain's plan before anyone else in the entire cast, even beating Tails to the punch. Not to mention he pretty much raises Charmy, a six year old without parents, on his own as a sort of Big Bro (Or father if that's more your speed). Vector is SUCH an underrated character, Vanilla should honestly return his feelings! He'd be a great father to Cream!
And Shadow doesn't biologically age anyway, so....

The reason I like Vector so much is the fact that he doesn't need the Chaotix to be a good character. Unlike other teams ,like the Koopalings or the deadly six, Vector can be separate from Espio and Charmy and still be funny, the same can be said with the other two as well.

Vector is one of my favourite characters in the sonic universe, alongside Knuckles and Big the cat. As you can tell, I love the power ones in Heroes (the only good sonic game)
Vector is my second favorite chaotix member, espios my first.

I LOVE ESPIO!!! Mainly due his attitude towards a given situation. When Vector decides to go on full crazy mode, Espio always finds himself being the voice of reason, while most of the time, if any at all,he doesn't manage to get Vector to listen, I love his persistence and that he keeps trying, though I think he tends to give in too quikly, and that he should really put his foot down more. Also I am a HUGE sucker for ninjas.
