I can not stop listening to this series. This came up in my feed with the most perfect timing imaginable. I couldn't sleep last night, and desperately needed something to take my mind off of why I was not able to sleep. And this most amazing story kept my attention till the sun came up this morning and beyond. Love this more than I can find words to describe.
I usually do not listen to this type of podcast. I learned about the tabletop RPG the other day and got curious. This is the best thing on the internet. I binged the entire first season last night. Also, I have a question. I have tried to find the answer to this but no amount of internet sleuthing has produced results. I grew up in Kentucky. In middle school, my principal told my class a story at Halloween about him and his friends during his college days. He said they were picked up by some golden chariot and they were never found. Only their shoes remained. He said to look up banshees. I am curious, does anyone know about this story? Does it originate from Appalachian folktales? I know my principal was just telling a cool story but I want to know the origins. It has stuck with me nearly 30 years later. This was when I lived in Todd County if that matters. This podcast has made all these old country tales flood back to me. I don't even live in the U.S. any longer. This podcast brings me back home in a weird way. Fantastic job!

I first heard of this franchise from my friend who's organizing a Halloween adventure for the TTRPG group we're in, using the tabletop game. I made my character, a drunk hobo doctor, and looked into the podcast. I'm hooked, this is dynamite stuff, masterful storytelling. I look forward to much more!
