What you said about wearing that belt like “who does she think she is” i laughed out loud because i’m quite the opposite. When i see people wear a belt i’m like damn they fckng strong, good for them. So if anyone reading this is hesitating about wearing one: do it! Thank for your vids, definitely an inspiration!
When it comes to grip strength I also recommend some grip exercises with dumbells, kettles ( but turned upside down, grabbing it by the handle will be similar to dumbell, and we want to have as many variations as possible - if that makes sense), and plates ( grabbing them with a claws-like grip). Try to hold them as long as possible and you're good to go. A strong grip will also improve your bench ;)
When I first started my fitness journey, I was watching fitness influencers who were skinny skinny and eating sub-1000 calories a day. Now that I've found i like feeling strong .... And coming to terms with my body type \ the fact that I won't be tiny, I've started watching more healthy mindsets and strengths based fitness content like yours!
So my pt suggested to match my stronger side with my weaker so for example with a dumbell lat or delt raise when my left side is struggling match the ROM with my right rather than being uneven, they slowly catch up.
Great video as I am only 5'3! My question is if I am doing a body recomp and eating clean and lifting...I meet all my macros by 1250 cals but need to eat at least 1400 to get to my deficit number. Suggestions please? How do I eat more cals without compromising my macros? Can I go over the macros to make the cals or do I stay deficit to get macros met? Thanks for the help as always you are an inspiration to so many people out there!
