  • Hey everyone! 💕 Today I’m sharing with you how I pack for a whole week in a carry-on only suitcase for a vacation in New York! For this trip I am flying from Seattle to New York (I have TSA pre check) and I provide links below for clear bags to pack your liquids. I have used these clear bags for many years and I highly suggest them for an easier TSA experience. The blue striped pouch I used in my video for my liquids and makeup is a one-off as I normally only use that pouch for road trips ☺️. I am so excited to be visiting New York over Thanksgiving week and wanted to ensure that I am well prepared for the chilly weather. All together, I am able to pack 13+ outfits! If you like this video, please give it a thumbs up, comment and subscribe to my channel so you never miss a video from me!

How do you get all those liquids through security? I’m struggling to decide on what to take on my personal bag.

TSA will let you pass with your liquids like that? I thought it had to be in a clear 1 qt size bag.

I like the way you packed your clothes and I found that useful, but a tutorial on packing should show the “legal” way to pack liquids, not what you’ve been getting away with. It’s a big hassle to have to repack them in the quart size bags you’ve packed just in case- in the TSA line with all the people behind you grumbling and becoming late for their flights. Not a good idea. Maybe you’ve gotten away with it because you have TSA pre-check.

I forgot about an item I had in my bag. I was pulled to the side and I already knew what it was, my homemade bug spray. The guy ahead of me had a fifth of tequila. 😬

Hi Keri Li I really like the way you fold your clothes. The organizational skill for packing is excellent. The only comment your toiletries must be in clear case? And your make up way too much its already my home make up. Your personal bag must be heavy plus laptop. I wish you can try minimal packing. Your 2 pouches I already condensed into one First aid & Medicine kit. Try to bring small travel pack for Tylenol. Because I always bring my Gluten Free snacks. It's so expensive to buy wherever I am. Still love to watch your video.

  • @sunnyxx5174

I’m surprised that you have duct tape for hand carry. It’s not allowed for carry-on in our country so it should be put inside you checked-in luggage. Even your face shaver since it can cut people’s skin. Just for safety and security purposes why we don’t allow it. Other than that is fine, I might buy hard case container for my gadgets like you have it’s a nice idea. I also prefer using sports bra when I travel to save some space and the fact that underwire bras wis a difficult challenge to pack. And it takes a lot of space than sports bra.

Wooow!! I’ve never heard of the duct tape issue. In many EU countries safety razors are allowed, but not the blade, many people get the blades in the destination country, but this could be a problem if you are doing several flights within the EU. (Same with the facial razors, but I have seen people getting away with this smaller blades) I’ve only been stoped once because I had a Candle in my Hand luggage, but I think they were being a bit silly as a candle is as solid as a soap bar, or a deodorant (which I had at the time and I didn’t have a problem with those) Sometimes it really depends on the security personal at the time of flying.
If you don’t mind saying, where are you from? (So I know where to be extra careful, thank you)
