Oh man I would love a larger version of these. Hopefully a third party company will specialize in doing WFC/FOC-related stuff OTHER than Dinobots.

Nice, dude. This was a very informative look at these little guys. Really just makes me long for a decent-sized FOC Ironhide, though.
6 years later I decided to bust mine out of the box and mess with them. The paint still holds up. And my Ironhide has painted guns. I wish the other skysnake repaints would have released.

Don't hate, subtitles, you know hips don't lie. :P
The one thing that concerns me on these guys is all the painted flexible plastic. How does the material feel, compared to the early Revoltech figures? The plasticizers in those would leach through the material and kill the paint, leaving the figures an odd, sticky, discolored mess after a few years. Hopefully not the case with these.
Any plans to review Botcon 2015 toys? If you have one or two.
These look great and all, but I hope the artwork Shapeshift released doesn't reflect their future products too much. It seems they're taking too many liberties with the game designs for no real reason, especially on the Combaticons.
Don't see why you'd need to G1-ize designs that are already based on G1 designs...
Ironhide's guns look kinda like Chaos Rift Combusters from FoC.
Random stupid question that I doubt will get an answer; how do they scale with Warhammer 40k models? If they scale well, that'd be the icing on the cake.
I haven't looked at a 40k model in ages but I think their robot modes are taller than an average space marine.
Vangelus After rewatching your review I noticed you used a figure (Stunticon guy, I have the Rodimus version) I can use to gauge how big the DEFINITELY, NOT IRONHIDE figure is. So after hurrying off to my room and slamming down Rodimus next to a Space Marine, I can safely say I'm satisfied with how they stand compared to my army of armoured lemons (Imperial Fists, if anyone's curious). I'm definitely going to be watching Shapeshift Inc now. This thought of a FoC/40k crossover crossed my mind pretty much immediately after a friend of mine introduced me to 40k years ago. Hell, I'm surprised I'm actually getting figures to let my display my childish dreams on a shelf. Wouldn't have found out about these things were it not for you popping up in my reccomendations, so for this I thank you and whatever coven drives RUclips at this point.
I would have liked Ironhide in a deluxe size...

If only the weapons replaced the forearms...it's not as though they couldn't, I don't know, just put a ball socket on the guns. Why does every 3P fuck that up? Guilty is the only one to get it right.
