Yes their harmonies are so perfect! I can imagine their father and grandparents are very pleased with how well they have done with their music and how they inspire so many people and bring love, joy, happiness, positivity and fun to this world!
Just like McCartney's "Silly Little Love Song" this one brings a smile to my face and I always love hearing it never growing tired of it. Kind of like my own "Silly Little Power Ballad" whose whole is more because of the parts all blended so perfectly. Nelson made it, but in a more perfect music business they would have been huge. I appreciate the way Gunnar and Matthew stepped away from the push to be a hair band and made their own long-lasting career that has stood the test of time. Great talents.

If you listen to recent interviews they are extremely secure men then and now. They were very talented even back then and refused to let the naysayers bring them down. I’m sure Rick is watching and everyday so proud of how resilient and mature they were and are even back then. I have a huge respect for them both. They knew they were talented and made inroads in several areas at all that matters is who they’ve always been and happy with themselves.
Yep, I agree. They are truly amazing in regards to how they were and are still whole heartedly committed to lifting people up with their music. They weren't just about putting on a performance. They have sincere messages in their songs and because of that sincerity they connect with alot of people on a deeper soul level. I remember being quite curious about them in the early 90s knowing they had a famous father but I didnt know until many years later the difficulties they went through and despite all that they still choose to be positive minded and are genuinely caring about their fans.

Terribly underrated band. I always said that if a band can do live what they do in a studio, they are solid. These guys had to fight being stereotyped as “good boys” because of their family name, but I can find no flaw in this, it’s good, happy hard rock, and a great sound.

Nelson was a great band it's just at that time in the 90's the glamour hair bands were being replaced with Grunge bands and they just fizzled out. Maybe if they picked another name and a slight change in motif they might have still been around!!!
These young men without having the advice of their father Rick Nelson let other’s grab ahold of their image and make pretty boy’s out of them. They were talented but I don’t think they were given the chance to grow . In hindsight I think they should have gone into country music. The short hair cowboy hat boot wearing brother’s. Just my opinion. Recently I heard them interviewed and they are intelligent men. They never had the career they should have and it’s a shame.

A few years ago I heard Brett Garsed say that John Kalodner (their A&R man) say that he envisioned Nelson as “an Eagles for the 90s” - and if you’ve heard the Because They Can album some of the songs do have that country rock feel.
