coming from the baseball collecting side of things, I'm surprised they haven't gone full Topps mode with serial numbered color refractor parallels in 6 different colors and patterns etc.

That's coming in Brother's War in Nov. Along with randomly inserted ultra flashy Transformers character cards too. They're just trying anything and everything and seeing what sticks.

They broke me over a decade ago. Not even the product broke me.
The players broke me. You know what I’m talking about. We’ve discussed it a lot.
And you’re 100% about the death of card games, and possibly table top games. If MTG collapses, they all go with it.

Yeah the originality leaving the player base was a huge blow to the overall appeal of the tournaments. Everyone just running the same deck formulas over and over.
Yeah, truly feel that Magic is the keystone in the entire tcg industry.

I'm telling ya bro, you gotta check out Flesh and Blood. The gameplay is great and the community is awesome. I also don't see them doing any type of money grab bull. They actualy care about their customers.
