All i can think about when watching you walk (especially far away from the camera or across a lake) away from the camera is you having to come back and grab it and then go again. So worth it for these shots!
I watch these with a plate of fruit in the morning before I go to school. Right now is a very stressful time for me, and these small moments in the morning before school with these hiking videos are what keeps me going sometimes

Hi Kraig, how r u? I’ve been watching your videos for the past year, and I really love them, I have physical limitations, I had multiple surgeries in my back and unfortunately I can’t walk for long periods of time and I can’t sleep in tents. But I can see your POV, and damn you have such a good eye, I can imagine myself hacking! I saw your last video, and i wanna let you know that you’re not alone, you have a friend here. I live In Brazil, and if one day you want to visit and hike down here, I can help you out with everything that I can. Love from Brazil Kraig, See u brother!

Dear Kraig, thank you for inspiring me to create my own hiking RUclips channel! I've been into hiking and climbing for years and just like you am coming from cinema background and still working in video production area. But I've been aimlessly and rarely shooting videos that barely captured the soul of my trips..(with a lousy gopro that kept freezing in cold) until I come across your videos. It was a sudden bright flash appeared in my mind and I told myself "This is it!". "This is how I should combine my hobby and my work!" In an instant I fell in love with your storytelling and style. I started making similar hiking videos in Turkey. I grabbed a Sony RX100 VII and DJI Mavic Air 2 and went out to hikes. It felt like a therapy. I added things from my perspective too but I still say I'm very heavily influenced by you. You are my hero, thank you for the awareness. Last week I've been in anti-taurus mountains in Turkey and made this video: ruclips.net/video/FUGXkeTCnwg/видео.html
I would give anything to have a really big picture of the lake and trees on each side at 0:54. That was absolutely fabulous!!! I hiked the Enchantments about 50 years ago, and what I remember most is that we had to buskwhack it straight up the mountain for about a half hour.
Kraig I always inspired after watching your videos. your content speaks for itself. every frame has intent and the edit just flows seamlessly. I look forward to the day I run into you on trail sometime here in California. sending all the good vibes for this nomad life
I always feel like I'm able to go on the hike without doing all the work when I watch these, so thank you. You're giving many of us an opportunity to see parts of the world we never would

Thank you for keeping the beautiful, peaceful content coming. Everyone is paying to watch TV that makes them depressed, and I'm just sat here enjoying life and getting inspiration for my own content.
You have the eye of an artist.. watching your vdos is nothing less than art in motion , invigorating all senses , even though I can’t smell the air , the serene vibes that seep thru your videos are enough to make you feel elated ...
Didn't get to see all of it, or better yet, couldn't stand watching anymore. Watch these (kind of) videos at first to reminisce, catch memories of all the places I hiked and trekked and traveled now that cannot and am On-In-Years. Secondly it's all about Belief, or the power thereof and getting to see and think of all that's good and right in this life if you get the chance, are so lucky. In that I am a million miles away from that world/life, mostly cuz don't got legs like yours - had to say somethin' bout it. Thanks for taking me along - as far as I could go.
Agree. There is a kind of balance to his videos that is hard to describe. Every cut, all the color grades, all the angles and the different music seem to be in a golden ratio to each other. I don't wanna know how long he spends editing these.
*smashes like before watching* edit: that place is stunningly beautiful, there's something so magical about the wilderness and sheer peaks you can access in the USA (elsewhere in the world too obvs). Great job sharing it with us.

Yes! Long day-hikes are the best. You don't carry so much weight and therefore you can move way faster. It's also healthier for your back. Can't wait to see more of these! Cheers for the bavarian food and drink!
Love these videos. keep them coming. :) Reminds me of Psalm 19. "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them. Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."
LOVE that you made it here! Did the Enchantments ~6 years ago and it was breathtaking (literally and figuratively). Leavenworth is a beautiful place to visit. Welcome(en) to the PNW!
I love your videos! For some reason, they are so addicting, and fun to watch. Love how you film them as well. It's a nice creative way to not only capture the trail but also yourself perfectly. Keep doing more!
I have the attention span of a Golden Retriever puppy, but no matter how long these videos are you always manage to keep my attention, and of course, amaze me.
Kraig love the way you shoot these videos. I'm sure it's time consuming setting up the camera and walking back to it all the time, but it gives your videos a really unique feel, so don't change! Thanks
I live in the Seattle area! Enchantment area is always fantastic. Quick note about Leavenworth that I thought I'd share. The reason it is Bavarian themed is actually to save them from going bankrupt! A while back they were in a tough spot so they decided to have the town themed Bavarian to bring in some extra money. So no, back when everyone was Going West there was not a German couple who came and established the town. Kinda funny, always a great place to get a good bratwurst. Glad you enjoyed it Kraig, loved the video!
Did that same path nearly 47 years ago. Made the mistake of pitching a tent in a basin. Had record rainfall. The creek that I jumped over on the way there was a raging River on the way back. Thanks for bringing that memory back to me.
Wow just amazing. I love your videos man. They inspire me to go out more and explore nature. Thank you Kraig for giving me new perspective and joy in my life.
yeah, considered staying there for another hour to let the light hit the water but knew a crowd would gather. a bit more people on this hike than most to be honest. makes sense
After a long and stressful day at work, this really helps calming down and relax. Thank you very much Mr. Adams for uploading your hiking experiences in such a pristine quality for free to watch. :)
I was out here last weekend! We started from the Snow Lakes Trailhead and hiked up to Snow Creek/Leprechaun Lake before having to turn around. We didn't have a permit to camp either. In hindsight, we should've just thru-hiked it because we had way more elevation gain/loss doing it this way than if we would have started from Stuart Lake Trailhead and finished at the Snow Lakes Trailhead. That's okay - I live here so it's easy for me to come back before the end of summer. LOVE your videos and love that you show how you make your videos. Thank you for another beautiful hiking video!!
Greg Moore Yup, it sure is. We didn’t think we could thru this one for some reason so we opted to enter via Snow Lakes. Now that I know I’m capable of getting my butt up there, I’ll come back and do the whole thing!!
you are a truely blessed soul to enjoy solitude in preserved wild places, thank you so much for making such wonderful videos for us oldies who are backseat backpackers and hikers, for now.

Very enjoyable video Kraig... I thoroughly enjoyed it. 20 miles and 5,000ft is a big dayhike! Great effort doing it and capturing it. Yea bruh like it took us about 6 hours just to do the colchuck hike
I hiked DOWN Asgard Pass, and that was tough enough! 😳
It's amazing that Leavenworth, Washington stays under the radar of beautiful American mountain towns. It's Top-5 for sure. Gorgeous.
Shhh

Great hiking video!Healed by beautiful nature
