Jason, I posted a comment and I guess someone didn’t like it! That’s a huge cat in anywhere in the USA love how your puppy is working out for you. Merry Christmas 🎄
Dang that's a big cat ,but you know the haters are coming..
Yes they are. I already had a reply agreeing to your comment deleted by RUclips.
I love these working videos! Thanks for taking us along.
sorry for your loss...(pun intended). thanks for sharing your ranch life with us. love your channel
Damn the luck with the tractor ! We have a lot of cats around me and that’s a big one !!! Bluey really start to work good ! Steers look really nice and healthy. Good looking. Appreciate your videos! Happy holidays to you and your family.
Same to your family. Thanks
Always enjoy your videos. Thanks for sharing just a small part of your ranch life.
MOUNTIAN LION MY ASS.. THATS A FUCKING MOUNTIAN ELEAPHANT!
an old boy once told me tits tires or tracks its gonna give ya grief
That tractor is officially yard art at this point.
That was a big cat, we have so many coyote around here in SC, we’ve noticed less deer. They killed 5 calves on my neighbors property.
That is a Big Cat Jason. Especially for that part of the country. I remember seeing one when I was a kid south of Channing on the west side of the ranch. But that was 30 plus years ago.
Love it! Thanks for sharing,I always look forward to your videos that you share with us!
Need more videos, love you folks.
Last February 2023, during the big ice storm in Weatherford, I got stuck on a hill, icy road, after picking up my 3 black labs from the boarding kennel. Anyway, there was another F350 downward slope in front of me and a big mountain lion walked between my truck and the other truck and went down into the revine. 😮Luckily a nearby farmer had a CAT and pulled us back up the hill and the dogs and I didn't have to spend the night stuck there. 😊
I think Bluey really enjoys her job.
She does
Truckers and hot shots.....they must sleep with those things. Tell me about your genetics. I am always looking for good show steers in your area.
Wowza that cat is a big one.
Sorry I missed some of your videos been here in east Texas. Yall be safe
As always love watching your videos. Ty
I hate to see that cat on our farm in MS, I mean his is pretty, but that puddy cat has big teeth and claws, and are hard on the calves and deer! No thank you, I don’t want any of those. I believe here in MS we have the Florida stran of big cats.
Bluey makes me tired just watching her! You can see her brain going a million miles per hour! Bet she sleeps well at night 😂
first thing is it was a Kubota, now the good news is you can buy a good one. the bale wagon is toast, you will have to replace everything on it, bearings, hoses, and be lucky if it will ever run again.........Good Dog Bluey
I remember you saying once when you were showing us your house, and that you said you hate wood, and only like steel and concrete, you would have had a lot more damage if you had wood.
The size of the cat at 4:40 is nut's. That dude could kill any man if he tried hard enough and wasn't scared off. Scary big.
Enjoyed the video. Sorry about the tractor though you don't like em lol. Glad you got the cat, a bigin
Jason, sorry about the fire and loss. Keep shooting the videos.
That's a big ass cat 😮
Was it male or female?
Tom
Spotted 1 here in Iowa,Allamakee County. That's usually where all the big bucks get harvested. Sounds like you feel the same about Tractors as you do about wood.
You know me to good 👍🏻
Just needs a little wash & an oil change; should sell quick! 😳
Keep up the videos we love watching. Sorry about your tractor luck!!!
Cougars here in my area are huge and in Wenatchee, Washington North Central WA they are often hunting in our city limits ar edge of town. In neighborhoods for small livestock and pets. I live along the Columbia River so they go down to river for water and follow deer herds in the hills. They banned hunting with dogs years ago so they are plentiful here. It's a real rude awaking to have a couple walking in your neighborhood near school etc. So glad you got that cat! Enjoyed the tractor suicide humor😂. I really loved watching you get the trucks loaded,Bluey was glad to get out of confinement and work some cattle! Merry Christmas to you Bonnie, the kids and grandkids at the Ranch to your hands and critters too! 🎄🎅☃️
Yep, I lived in Eastern Washington for many years. It's interesting they are called cougars up north, and in Texas we call them mountain lions.
That was a big cat. Hopefully we'll get some good deer hunting video before long, by the way you might check on your homeowners insurance it may pay for that Tractor. I had a 85 horse jd burn up two years ago and because I had it scheduled on my homeowners insurance it paid for it.
It burned in a a shed also, and because the outbuildings are insured they got paid for also.
The insurance fire inspector determined it was a phone charger plugged in the USB.
That horse is amazing. You don't even pull on the reins and it follows you around wherever you want to go. Maybe you have a treat in your pocket, lol. Love the video part on the tractor, but sorry for the expense of fixing up the barn. Did you ever figure out what the cause of the fire was. That mountain lion was enormous and good that you got it taken care of. It could have done so much damage to other deer, horses or whatever it got close to. Love watching Bluey, she is such a live wire. She does such a great job. Wishing you and Bonnie an early Christmas. Don't stop videoing, love them.
Thanks and merry Christmas to y’all
Around 1960 a lion was seen in sumner county kansas. 1972 i seen a lion cross the road in front of me in bultler county kansas. About 2000 i found lion tracks on one of are farms. It's in harvey county kansas. Then a freind's son told me about his classmates seen a lion about 20 miles from that farm. In 1966 i started helping dad run tractors almost all John Deere. I still have several John Deere tractors. A 5020 John Deere had rear end trouble after yrs of use. The only major break down with a tractor we had in 50 yrs . (mountian lions are rarely seen in this area)
Bye the way I really like that Bluey dog. Got a winner!
Get dogs before he threatens Max.
Love watching bluey knows what to do. I love watching a dog work. Truly a happy moment for a working dog. If she hears the men yelling she come running to get a holt. If the steers moving just a tad too slow she coming to get a holt. You can be a distance away and she knows what to do. Has a great time watching and telling my wife what going on. I think she’s a cattle dog person now. We always used cur dogs here in Jena Louisiana. For squirrel hunting, hog hunting, and moving cattle around. I miss it. You have an amazing life. I could stay out there in a tent and work all day and would be in Heaven. My uncle still does this work. I bet you know him or heard of him. Keep making videos man
You ship tractor to Ukraine?
Joking
That is a big cat, he won’t be causing problems anymore. Good looking steers you got a few brown one. Love bluey. 👍❤️🇨🇦
bluey is having a blast 🤣
Those tractors catch fire once in a while .Good luck with the cat problem
Thanks for sharing with us I'm sure you buying a new one or decent used one. Keep bringing em any video on the ranch is much appreciated that mountain lion was not an average kitty🤣
Sorry about the tractor. Hope you show the new one for the people that like tractors. GOD bless
Will those cattle be sold to like a feedlot for them to grow until ready for butcher?
Yes sir I was wondering if you sale any of your horses?
We do but I don’t have anything right now
Oh no, she's back!😆
Been moving the household over 2k miles away and getting unpacked and settled in to the new place these past few weeks and just haven't had the gumption left in me to reach for the keyboard though I HAVE been watching the videos! I'm exhausted, man.😆
Too bad about that cat, he was gorgeous and a real nice size, he would have made beautiful babies. Something bad must be happening in their area to drive them into y'alls fields to hunt. That's no good. Like 'em or not, they serve a purpose far greater than being wall mounts. I hope whatever is driving them to change their patterns, doesn't come down the line and affect y'all!
I've been enjoying the longer form videos lately and they've helped keep me lined up mentally during this long hard journey I've been treading upon. It's like hanging out with a pal that knows just what you need in the moment. You'll not be aware of it til now, but I've appreciated hearing your banter more than ever these past few weeks, Jason.🙂 The calm nature with which you approach.....well, damn near everything, has been soothing and much needed.
I'll not bore y'all with any more of my own details, but I am SO hoping this finds everyone well and sporting the between Holiday glow that seems to cover people between Thanksgiving and Christmas!
May your bellies always be full, your toesies warm and hearts full of Joy! Best to the Abraham Clan!
Thanks and same to you
My gosh, that cat looked monstrous. Glad everyone is safe.
My brother in law has one or more on his place in Mitchell county for the first time this year.
Is that north or south of 20? Friends of mine on a deer lease in Mitchell county. I swear I heard one 2 years ago just after dusk
Jason, I thought posted a comment earlier and it looks like it’s gone. RUclips censors?
No RUclips would never 😂😂😂
Jason, RUclips has erased four of my replies to the reply above. Each reply has commented on the importance of predator management because of livestock and wildlife depredation. Let’s see how long this last.
@@nmelkhunter1 I've had LOADS of my comments (specifically on predator/prey management and balance) go 'missing' from Jason's videos over the years.
Interesting, isn't it?
@@shotgunbettygaming To put it nicely. So much for diversity of opinions. 🤠
Another great video Jason. Keep them coming.
Nice pup she’s coming right along.
You say you hate cattle and now tractors. Whats next?lol😅😮😅😮
Tractor advice buy an old tractor and have it restored the old stuff if you need one is better than the cheese ball crap
I’m thinking about a JD 4440
What a huge cat and so sorry about the tractor
Taste for a steak..

Jason that’s some good looking steers gonna be a good payday if the price of steers in Texas is as good as they are in Missouri
What are your feelings on dale brisby? Could he heli hog hunt if y’all friendly?
I do know him. I tried getting him to go but he turned me down. I like him and he’s a good hand
@@themendotaranch the guy you had working top hand was good! The before you in the sorting pen

Any progress on brush bullet?
*brush
You bet. Working on a new applicator and some new chemistries. Next year looks like a big one
No insurance??? Ok. Now I’m confused and interested. Either you have more money than god, or your lost
Farms and Ranches are business and anything business related when it comes to insurance is expensive. So unless you live in an area that mandates insurance on tractors just in case they get driven on the road, I would say it's not worth paying for insurance on a tractor; especially since it's a rather reasonable gamble that the tractor will last longer than what it would cost in yearly insurance premiums.
If you have to float a loan to purchase a tractor then it's also basically guaranteed that you will be forced to waste money on insurance.
I live in upstate new york the state released a bunch of breeding pair s of mountain lions to control the deer population around here
Really
Again, practice the three S’s.
Yup. GOT to have that balance. Montana had GREAT success bringing some wolves in to balance the predator/prey ratio a few years back. Before I recently left Washington State they have been talking about doing the same there as the massive deer pop is beginning to wreck the land, making it hard for it to recover. WA is full of pansies and pudwhackers though, so who knows if they'll follow through with it. They get EVERYTHING there wrong.
They denied for Years had a mother cat carrying her kittens threw a playground .after 10 Yeats of videos and sighting they admitted that the insurance companies funded the project to help decrease the whitetail deer population
