This pack is really making me want to see a Nordic world in the Sims 4! Kind of like how Mt. Komarebi is Japanese, maybe a Norway, Sweden, Denmark, or Iceland-inspired world!
Yes! I also want a "cozy home" pack that would be a good blend with that. New fireplaces, couchs/chairs with throw blankets, a blanket stand, soft lighting, etc.
Seems to kind of be moving in that direction since Tiny Living is supposed to be hygge and uses MCM/Scandinavian style furniture and MCM is heavily based on Scandinavian.
They’re making Japandi really easy to do
I feel like the Icelandic one is get together even tho it was germany based it kinda branches out

This pack is just everything I wanted and more. Sims is definitely stepping up.

I don't agree that some of the modular furniture should've been replaced by plants and other decorative pieces. We can get new plants in every other pack, but modular furniture is probably going to remain exclusive to this pack because it's one of it's main selling points. I think people would've been really upset if a pack this light on gameplay only came with one set of modular furniture.
I agree! I think modular furniture needs to have different items because we don’t want to be repeating the exact same piece over and over. It’s nice to have some that snap to the floor, some that go on the wall, etc. Plants are always nice to have, but modular furniture is such a big deal in this pack, I don’t mind sacrificing plants over more options to build our own closets and so.
True and tbh most sims players aren’t into clutter and don’t have the time to fiddle with move objects 😅 especially those that are into the gameplay. I try to decorate and add clutter but I really forget because it’s not my priority. Maybe they should offer a kit or something that is just full of paintings or plants or clutter for those who are into that.
Agreed about rounded furniture vs squared. But seriously blown away by the amount of items here. Love the little boxes and shoe clutter a bit too much
I honestly just love everything, I just hope this is the last time we see this sort of style so we can get more varied furniture

honestly, having sunk 6 hours into this, it’s my favourite pack ever (and i have almost all of them). i was suuuuuper impressed with the build/buy items.
I bought the pack as soon as it released earlier. Been decorating the apartments in San Myshuno so far and not dived into gameplay so far.
I absolutely love cluttering my Sims homes to make them look more realistic and lived in, so a "clutter kit" would be amazing.
Everything looks awesome! This is like a dream pack because, when I'm older I actually want to be an interior designer, so I'm excited to get this pack! 😁

I’m liking the pack so far. Only thing I wish is that you could hire a home decorator for your sims.
The wallpaper is nice but it's not so different because didn't we already get a geometric wallpaper with triangle shapes or something?
That one has huuge pattern, and it is really vibriant if your are thinking of the same one as I am

As an interior architect, I prefer to have the ability to create my own furniture rather than more clutter or decorative objects. Makes it more creative and flexible.
Completely agree. I can imagine them making a clutter kit instead which would be a lot better, in my opinion. Perhaps a clutter kit and a plants kit?

If they had had a single wall mounted rod for the clothes it would have made all the difference for versatility.
I bought it finally but also people on Twitter have been saying there are bugs in the game I didn’t have any bugs and I have been playing for like 4 hours and it definitely could be from mods or just bugs itself I play on console though so it might just be me so yea! Thank you simlicy for doing an overview I was a bit skeptical but the pack is worth my money! I refuse to watch other creators Before I watch your content lol.

I was very disappointed that we didn't get a home decorator aspiration or at least 1 new trait. I know it's not an expansion pack but still, it would have made sense to have an aspiration to go with the career

I agree with the whole no flooring one wallpaper. Like wtf?
It’s a game pack not an expansion pack. They gave us more than enough in buy mode to made up for the lack of wallpaper and flooring. Base game has enough of those things anyway to make it feel like a complete experience when renovating people’s houses. We don’t need a 46th wood floor - theyre clearly running out of ways to make the wood floor look unique too.
@@orbital151 yeah but we deserve more floors and wallpapers in honestly everything. We got floors and wallpapers in paranormal and it was a stuff pack. I have every pack but Star Wars so trust me I know. I also had most of the previous sims packs from sims one and on. The previous games were way less greedy than sims four. That’s just facts. We should honestly have tons more plain paint swatches for the walls. There should be every color imaginable for the thousands of dollars it costs for all the packs. This game pack has no world and the others do. This one also has zero gameplay beyond the BUGGY career. I got the pack and I enjoy it but EA is so greedy it’s gross. Floors, sure whatever I can see that they don’t wanna do more but we barely have any decent colors for the walls with all packs installed. And I’m on console so I can’t do cc. So it sucks having only a handful of wall colors.

I have to agree with you. In my very humble opinion we have too many similar items within this pack. The modular items are too many and I do wish the didn't spend the budget for the modular things only. When I saw the trailer, I was expecting we'll get different hanging lamps length for medium and tall wall height, some plants, and more clutter. I mean, come on, 1 wallpaper and no flooring? Don't get me wrong, I do love this pack. But I think I will easily get bored with the items we got because they're too similar.
Are there also new cas items with this pack?

They did make one for sims 2, it does look similar to some stuff in IKEA too
