Just coming to this video, longtime follower-- another beautiful piece. If you're still checking comments, I would love to know what wood or technique you used for the dovetail pins... have problems in my work with wedges/pinnings splitting the work, making me a bit traumatized in sizing both male and female portions of a wedge/pinning. Seems like your lock-pins were surprisingly oversized and you had no problem persuading them like dowel-making on steel plate. Thanks and hope you're well!

Das Tischchen sieht super aus. super, das du ohne Leim und Schrauben gearbeitet hast.
Beim Schwalbenschwanz an den Seiten, die durch "Fremdfeder" zu festigen finde ich super.

Lovely piece of furniture. How do you manage with Japanese chisels on dovetails and not bruising the corners as the have large side flats. Have you ground the sides of your chisels?

Thank you! No, I angle the chisels while chopping the corners.

Great piece! Why did you got for 2 angled pegs per dovetail instead of a single centered woodnail through the vertical side of the tail into the top board?

Thank you! Because you can retighten them in the future and the pressure coverage isn’t just in the middle. Plus it looks way better ;)

What brand of table saw is in the video at 1:39? I just bought my first table saw, a Robland X31 a 1995 model, and it looks very similar. Thanks for the video's, learning to do scarf joints. Building a shed in the back yard to put the saw and other woodworking equipment in that I will soon be acquiring.

The saw is a Felder from Austria. I am based in Germany, so we use slightly different machines.

Красиво). Но как ведёт себя конструкция при изминении влажности, допустим как у нас в ЕАО? От сухой зимы до мокрого лета.
