  • I have been working hard to try to sort out the launch and the trap speed with the new Garrett GT2260T. The team at TuneZilla have been amazing to work with and I believe it has been sorted not but always more work to do to see if we can improve it.

    I emailed a local place about getting the 2260 and all the fueling and they didnt say they wouldnt do it..... but they implied that it wasnt safe on the stock block 😒..... not sure if I should even bother or just wait till I get my next car..... my IS38 is fun but yours is legit fast fast.

      I am not sure I agree with that statement as the 2260 is working well BUT you have to reduce the torque to a level that is acceptable. HP is x3 stock but TQ is x2 stock for a reason. I can turn up the torque a lot more but the car can't handle that currently. It would need a built bottom end then it would be turned way up. Do you have any other place that will do it locally? There are people doing more to these engines that I have done with no issues so far.

      Reality is that we occupy the same track at the same time but my 1.8T is never really against the DAZA! but yes that was VanCity Audi next to me.
