Just discovered this channel! I'm so glad that it exists! I just started ice skating lessons and the videos are helping me understand what to do in more depth. Thankyou everyone involved for all the detailed explanations and instructions for all the ice skating moves. Such good quality teaching!
This looks like something I could try, although I have very open hips when I'm skating so I find it hard to move as a 'unit' until I work out what it should feel like 🙈 Thank you for another great challenge without it being completely out of reach 😊
The bonus of having open hips is that it will make a lot of things on the ice easier, such as choctaws, mohawks and spread eagles. It will just take a bit more practice to get used to controlling the hip position. Let us know how it goes in practice trying this move.
Have you watch our sit spin tutorial? You can find it here: ruclips.net/video/xXl7hjZpmi0/видео.html We have jump spins on our Patreon page, they will be coming to RUclips later this year!
Could you please explain how the upper body position differs when doing a backwards outside 3-turn (instead of the step forward) immediately following the forward outside 3-turn?

So beautifully done! Wow. I was not doing this correctly at all. Can’t wait to try this - under control...
