He is quite humble, modest and has commented he is uncomfortable with this latest growing thing of being put on a "spiritual pedestal" with references to heavenly status which makes him uncomfortable not only as a performer, but privately, as his religion frowns on this. He always appears enormously patient, empathetic and says he understands the public is unaccountable for knowing this. I truly admire this in him, fan love and adoration is one thing, but that's another. It would be tough, some scary religious zealot folk out there.
It's not so much that most of us put him on a pedestal, but that we are just so relieved a major artist is not a complete train wreck in their personal life and attitudes. He's a regular sensible person and perhaps noticeably above average in maturity, values and behavior. That's good enough news for me.

It is remarkable that the recording mix on Dimash's live events are usually so good. That is not easy. The live concert mix has very little to do with the recording mix. You would even pick different mikes for live versus recording. Working out the compromises and probably having a separate sound board for the recording mix is not easy. Keeping the live "mud" out of the recording mix is really hard. Most of the live Pentatonix and Home Free concerts have terrible recording mixes and that is with just 5 mikes and no instruments. There were maybe 2 or 3 where they clearly set up for both live and recording, such as the Pentatonix Christmas Special. So Dimash's concerts are extremely well engineered to have such a high typical quality. That being said, this show was live streamed and is a little lower quality than most of his concerts, but still pretty good.
Just found you and immediately subbed because (1) you're big fans of Dimash--it's always wonderful getting to meet others of like mind (2) you're knowledgeable, understanding that the genius of combining Igor and Dimash will inevitably result in music that has been blessed by the gods themselves and (3) my BA is in Interspecies Communication, with a focus on Koko, the gorilla who understood 2,000 signs in ASL (American Sign Language)--the gestural form of sign language. (I've also worked in a zoo, taking care of chimps, (Bornean) orangs, Hamadryus Baboons, mandrills, drills, Siamang apes and assorted monkeys.) And, come to think of it (4) considering just how invariably kind and compassionate Dimash is, you just KNOW how much he must love animals!

Igor Krutoy, music titan in Russia (billionaire) and a world-famous composer who came out of retirement to work together with Dimash from time to time.
Lilia Vinogradova is known as a permanent co-author of the composer Igor Krutoy, with whom has created wonderful works in the crossover genre.
Dimash is an opera singer too and so he sings this song in Italian (the language of music), with an opera voice (Bariton - Sopran). No one else then Dimash can sing this song alone.
In December 2019, the song “Olimpico” performed by Dimash Kudaibergen became the Song of the Year 2019 in Russia. The authors of the composition shared the triumph with the artist.

He is quite humble, modest and has commented he is uncomfortable with this latest growing thing of being put on a "spiritual pedestal" with references to heavenly status which makes him uncomfortable not only as a performer, but privately, as his religion frowns on this. He always appears enormously patient, empathetic and says he understands the public is unaccountable for knowing this. I truly admire this in him, fan love and adoration is one thing, but that's another. It would be tough, some scary religious zealot folk out there.
It's not so much that most of us put him on a pedestal, but that we are just so relieved a major artist is not a complete train wreck in their personal life and attitudes. He's a regular sensible person and perhaps noticeably above average in maturity, values and behavior. That's good enough news for me.

It is remarkable that the recording mix on Dimash's live events are usually so good. That is not easy. The live concert mix has very little to do with the recording mix. You would even pick different mikes for live versus recording. Working out the compromises and probably having a separate sound board for the recording mix is not easy. Keeping the live "mud" out of the recording mix is really hard. Most of the live Pentatonix and Home Free concerts have terrible recording mixes and that is with just 5 mikes and no instruments. There were maybe 2 or 3 where they clearly set up for both live and recording, such as the Pentatonix Christmas Special. So Dimash's concerts are extremely well engineered to have such a high typical quality.
That being said, this show was live streamed and is a little lower quality than most of his concerts, but still pretty good.
There's a fan cam version on Dimash48 YT channel. Audio isn't as good as this one but the entire is closeup of Dimash is awesome!
Just found you and immediately subbed because (1) you're big fans of Dimash--it's always wonderful getting to meet others of like mind (2) you're knowledgeable, understanding that the genius of combining Igor and Dimash will inevitably result in music that has been blessed by the gods themselves and (3) my BA is in Interspecies Communication, with a focus on Koko, the gorilla who understood 2,000 signs in ASL (American Sign Language)--the gestural form of sign language. (I've also worked in a zoo, taking care of chimps, (Bornean) orangs, Hamadryus Baboons, mandrills, drills, Siamang apes and assorted monkeys.) And, come to think of it (4) considering just how invariably kind and compassionate Dimash is, you just KNOW how much he must love animals!
