C'est incroyable tout ce qu'ils peuvent faire avec des instruments d'époque ! Avec un peu plus d'énergie venant des cuivres c'aurait été parfait ! Par contre les cornistes ont géré le solo à la fin !!

He lets the strings play with vibrato for a piece written in the 1870s and no vibrato when he conducts Mahler's 4th some 30 something yrs later. Am I missing something?

I hate when the piccolo doubles the flutes...you can't hear the flutes, which are much more pleasant than a piccolo.
