Well, let me be honest!!! Zeppelin, The Who, Kiss the original lineup of course, Fleetwood Mac, AC/DC, and the Eagles are my absolute favorite bands ever!!@
One of the greatest live rock performances I've ever heard. Chris Slade on drums, Angus doing his Chuck Berry stomp. You just can't beat it with a (drum) stick. I've seen almost all of the great classic rock drummers live. In March 69 I went to see the Rascals so I could see their drummer, Dino Danelli, a great jazz rock drummer. Guess what two groups opened up for them. Their first US concert and no one in the US had heard of them. The Who and Cream. That was Keith Moon and Ginger Baker. I saw Mitch Mitchell, Santana's Michael Shrieve, Tull's Clive Baker, Yes' Bill Buford and Alan White, Liberty Devitto with Billy Joel, John Bonham, Ansley Dunbar with Zappa and an incredible drummer most of you never heard of, who was more of an influence on my drumming than all of those drummers combined. His name was Gary Driscol. For years Gary played with Ronnie James Dio in his first band, Ronnie Dio and the Profits. John Bonham's foot play never would have been great if not for either the direct, or indirect, influence of Gary. He had the greatest foot I ever heard and no drummer, not Bonham or anyone else could touch him. Other than watching Gary dozens of times, I never saw a performance as great as Chris Slade on Money Talks. Absolute perfection. He found a perfect pocket and never left it. Drove the song, the lead guitar and the vocals and never got in their way. Just groove perfection.
These guys were so under estimated in the Rock world. In their prime they held their own among Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith etc. This song is truly a rocker song and a gift to us all........Thank you Ac/Dc.
In my opinion better than any of those, since they didn't get destroyed by crippling drug addiction.I respect Led Zeppelin's music but they met a tragic fate
These guys are the reason I play guitar, yes I kinda went off into harder and faster stuff, but I will always love them and hold a special place in my heart for them.
My second favorite band!!! Kiss is my first, but I love these guys, Bon Scott or Brian Johnson, both fantastic, this is actually my favorite song of theirs, Highway to Hell a close second!!!!@ 👍
