- Since I last shared clips the world has definitely became a darker place to live, and my thoughts are of course with the Ukrainian people right now. So today I offer a beautiful Depeche Mode influenced synth track by one of Ukraines legendary synth groups in the 90's "Novyj Svit", that still are active. The group released this song on their first album (recorded 1995 and released 1996).

How long is this nightmare is going to last?
@@codyvon. - Until Ukraine has pushed Russia entirely out of the country, since they want to join NATO for protection against Russia in the future, but you can't join NATO if you have a current conflict going on, so Ukraine has no choice but to continue fighting to the end, in order to be safe from Russia in the future.
Ukraine may cede Crimea in order to settle things in order to join NATO, but so far the plan is to take back everything, and that is slowly indeed happening. It's also profitable for the U.S. so that's terrible for Russia, and if the U.S. stopped supporting Ukraine via a shit new president, Europe is still there, and Europe doesn't want Russia continuing to go to war with the small countries around it, and the other small (and big) countries around Russia don't want to be next, so they're all joining NATO if they can so as Russia won't attack them.
It's a massive backfire for Putin, and he's constantly losing the war. Ukraine doesn't even have to do peace agreements.
Russia's incentive is to start never-ending little baby-war with every country around them that they can, so as those countries can't join NATO and then slowly try to annex them. We know Putin wants the former soviet boarders back, which means taking everything until they're bordering Poland. This is obviously not going to happen in reality, because there's too much pushback, and Russia has also revealed itself to be quite a paper tiger with serious issues within their military.
But anyway, it's very slow moving, and could potter along for years to come.
