Watching this video on my laptop but I do own an iPhone 13 256gb blue variant.
I got to say that the upgrade from the 13 to the iPhone 15 would be a waste of money, yes the 15 models has the dynamic island is there, usb c and of course faster processor. But it's not worth the upgrade. Just my opinion.
You don't need to upgrade your iPhone's every once a year. The iPhone 13 is still the latest iPhone in the market to buy right now. Plus, the value for a brand new iPhone 13 is much cheaper these days. You can even get a case with the budget you have since there are discounts as well.
We can upgrade from the iPhone 13 once the iPhone 18 or 20 releases. A big save for your wallet.
Planning to keep my iPhone 13 at 87% battery health, will have the battery's replaced once it drops to 80% which costs $70 only and then in a couple of years like 2026 or 2027 I can have an upgrade which is going to be worth it.
If you have the iPhone 13 guys, keep it for 2-3 more years before upgrading to the PRO MAX version. Trust me, you'll feel the difference. I came from an iPhone 6 plus way back in 2015 before upgrading to an iPhone 13 baseline model. And now my goal is to get the PRO MAX version.
Life goals I'd say. For me to keep on working harder each and every day in the call center industry here in the Philippines!💘

I got my 13 in September 2022, almost completing 2 years with it. Sitting around 91% with the battery health, everything is great. Battery life has definitely taken a hit, and I do find charging to be slow for today's standards, but can keep rocking this phone for years to come.
I plan to do the same as you, replace battery if it comes down to 80, and get a new one between 18-20 series

The 15 is an ESim only phone is the US. For us in the UK, EU, and other parts of the world, the phone has ESim and physical nano sim.
I think I'll buy the iphone 15, only bc it has the dynamic island, better battery life and better ram, It'll probably be my main phone for a long while, and once the iphone 20 releases, I'll upgrade.
Mine is same as yours Ip13 in pink still working fine after I got it last year and still have a 100% battery health.💕

Personally, I don’t think the 13 feels like a last generation phone. I feel like I could happily switch back to one and the dynamic island actually takes up more space sometimes. I love both but I prefer the feel of the 15 but I could go back to the 13 and be satisfied with the preformance and everything. I definitely think it’s worth it still today , it’s actually the cheapest iPhone I would recommend getting.

You should get the iphone 15 because its the same thing but if you like apple intelligence and making custom emojis wait for 16, the 16 wil still get 60 hz and apple a16 bionic is already great and a18 base is no use because its not getting 120 hz.
Conclusion:if you think apple intelligence is for your needs and don't care about looks you should get the 16 or you can get the 15.
15 and 16 will both get 6 years os updates 16 will be more expensive because apple will make a new a18 base chil for 16 and 16+ because apple intelligence.
And I think 15 is the best for you as always it your choice but if you want the best worth for you buck the 15 is better.
Just bought an iPhone 15 a few weeks ago. I'm impressed! The Bionic A16 is great and performs much better than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. No hiccups at all, regardless of what you're doing. Great battery life. I've been used to 120/144hz smartphones for many years and this is my first time going back to 60hz. I barely notice the difference between a 120hz and a 60hz screen refresh rate on the iPhone 15. The screen refresh rate is smooth af even though it's only 60hz.
You are using a great camera angle and compare phones side by side from every aspect. I like that you mention about differences even if they can be considered as nuances. It is also nice that you share your opinions about features of devices. You have also very calming voice. Keep it up man, stay safe.

If you're on a tight budget get the 13. And if u can get the 14 pro, it's way better than the 15. Go check videos

I think the best thing to do when upgrading is to upgrade every 5-6 years, upgrading after 2-3 years isn't that worth it because of the minimal changes.

It looks like Apple doesn’t let its customers to keep a phone for a long time until it dies. It limits the iOS for certain phones. For instance, IPhone 6s, has 15.8.2 as the latest iOS for this model. Apple won’t push any new ios. If you own this phone, you won’t be able to install certain apps that run on iOS 16 and above. Hence, you’ll be obliged to upgrade the phone. Not all people are keen about upgrading iPhones. Some want to spend money on a phone that can last longer. I have mine for 7 years, and I’m planning to upgrade to iPhone 13 with a big storage, and also be able to install certain apps that requires the latest iOS.
I love the iPhone 13 pro max the first iPhone own I’m not sure if I’m gonna upgrade to the new iPhone I don’t see the point. They all look the same maybe the finishes a little different but they all come with the same features yeah iPhone 15 only comes with a little bit newer features and the software and the hardware is a little more upgraded..

I now have a Samsung A20, I’m thinking of buying an iPhone 13 or a Samsung S23, but I like both the iPhone and Samsung, how will I decide on my choice?
I am using an iPhone 13 and my wife is using an S23. Performance, antenna, photo camera and feature wise, i’d go for the S23.
For build quality, speaker, and video camera, i’d go for the Iphone 13
Oh and the battery life’s sliiightly better on the S23

@@nickackermanchannel Initially, I assumed the problem was with the app. However, after installing an application to monitor my total RAM usage, I discovered that most of my RAM was getting utilized even when I had closed all my apps and wasn't actively using anything. I have other iPhones like the 14 Pro Max and 15. I'll try rendering the same video on them since they have 6GB RAM. Oh, and I like iMovie. I was also planning to get LumaFusion. Have you ever tried that app?
