Tip of the cap to Michael Hayes and Bobby Roode who produced the final segment, it was f'n gold
An old hand and someone from a closer generation who both know the wrestling business and what works
How u find that out? They put that info out?
Michael Hayes apparently have been very involved in a lot of the bloodline segments for a few years now and you can tell because Micheal was in one of the biggest heel tag team/factions of his era so he knows how to get heat.
@aceloco817 yeah it was posted on wrestling insider
It still blows my mind that Hayes produced both hbk vs taker mania matches
My mom that doesn’t really watch wrestling was screaming at the tv for Cody to fight back and now she’s hooked and ready for Wrestlemania.
Bro, I’m gonna be at Night 2! And RAW the night after 🔥 My wife was not invested until she saw that segment 💯
@@Only_One_Veezy That’s awesome. I went last year and it was such an amazing experience.
My wife wanted nothing to do with WM last year, but she’s locked in since the first slap. We’re watching both nights together, I’m stoked!
😂😂😂 Love it! That's when you know it's working.
The that's so awesome💯✨❣️✨
"Look at you now, boy"
"Mama Rhodes, look at your son"
🤣🤣🤣
RUNNING YOUR MOUTH shirts!
LOOK AT YOU NOW, BOY shirts!
Come on merch department, unleash those shirts!
Scarface inspiration LoL 😮
When so many try hard to be real and expose. Rock calls him a boy and I don't like how it sounds.
Rock says mama Rhodes. I think you evil dirty human leave her alone. It's great heel work with simple language
Oh i taught he was talking to Lana Rhodes 😂
The way he thinks, Bully needs to be a writer/producer for WWE.
True!!!! I liked his idea ALOT ..thats how it should have ended.
Have you seen the amount of former wrestlers are “Producers” , there’s like 20 of them.
It ended perfect.
I always felt that they need former wrestlers being apart of the creative team.
Very insightful discussion. I never thought about booking it backwards. Makes perfect sense though.
This isn't Hollywood Rock. This is Maniac Rock. He's completely arrogant and believes he really is untouchable and above rebuke. The way he smiled at the end. Pure maniacal joy.
Side note: you know He's gonna sell the rebuke like only he can.
Final Boss Rock
That's what I've been trying to tell people stop trying to relive the Hollywood Rock persona. This is the Final Boss persona something completely different and it came at the perfect time.
Good acting from The Rock
@@ProdMisguided It's everything i didn't know I wanted or needed in my pro wrestling. I was kinda against final boss because that was always roman to me. Difference is after last night he proved he doesn't need a goon to do his dirty work
Maniacal Rock!
Huge longtime Rock fan here. I've seen every version of him since the beginning. That was the most hauntingly dark intimidating version of the Rock I've ever seen. And whatever he told Cody just added to the darkness. Bravo.
What Rock whispered to Cody? Rock told him, “I’m gonna make you bleed tonight”
I think this is the best iteration of the rock the final boss it's like corporate rock nation of domination rock and Hollywood rock fused together
It was the rain that made that scene 1000x better
Absolutely, the rain added extra drama. I would have liked to see The Rock leave Cody in a giant rain and dirt puddle.
the rock isnt getting enough credit for carrying this ride to mania
agreed! the in ring promos along with the social media promos 🔥
He is ruining WrestleMania. He is overbooking himself because his ego can't take not being in the main event.
@@MrKillian1983idc what he doing outside of keeping me entertained, dude is awesome!!! Wish he would win and Wrestlemania and be champion cause it would make the show more entertaining. The Rock is the best hands down!!!
@@MrKillian1983Please Shut Your Goofy A-- Up With This Comment
@@MrKillian1983You’ve worked yourself into a shoot, brother
Just wanna say, we gotta appreciate the rock. Hes back and hes giving his full attention to get Cody over EVEN MORE than ever before. This build to Mania would not this hyped if he didnt return, Cody is evaluated and the Product is Evaluated. Great times. P.S Punk and Drew are freaking awesome lol.
Rock is goat 🐐
You mean ELEVATED, right?? But, I agree!!
The celebration and grandeur will be glorious!...unless Roman wins.😏
So yeah people try to rewrite history as if Rock hasn’t made people AND himself look like a million bucks, cause it takes two to dance right? .. Rock does his job and does it well. It’s all to elevate Cody even further. We can all tell that Cody will win, but now it’s all about the how it’s going to happen.
The rain added so much to that final segment
It represented the tears for the Cody crybabies
Bully with the most bully thing ever "I WANTED MORE BLOOD!!!!!!"
That Roman presence would have been a great idea actually, shout out Bully on that!
"THE CRIMSON MASK!!!" - Good Ol' J.R.🤣
Bully was COOKING with that Roman suggestion. That would have definitely added something to their story. Missed opportunity there
I fully disagree. I don’t think it would have added anything. Matter of fact I think it would have hurt Roman even more to be there.
@@RavensFlock9592Lol you are in every comment defending him. Cope much?
Bully Rey is right
@@RavensFlock9592 It's quite the opposite, not having Roman there makes it look like the Rock is actually calling the shots on his own and this whole feud feels more Cody vs Rock than Cody vs Roman to be honest, Roman just feels like a side character next to the Rock.

Surprised he isn't.

@@mightyblack1 lmao 🤣
Last night’s episode of RAW was hands down the greatest we’ve seen within at least the last 10 years! 🔥🙌🔥 Absolutely Incredible!
When the Rock came out he reminded me of Bane in the Dark Knight Rises when it cuts to that front view of him from a distance. Epic angle, then to actually break Cody the way he did and make him bleed was epic. That is why The Rock is the Goat.
Cody merely adopted the dark
Yea he really came off as menacing . I’m not sure we ever really seen him like this before. Maybe the closest would’ve been with his feud with Mankind.
@@pmac206I was thinking that too!! That Mankind I Quit match really added a dark edge to his character back then, but I think he was even more intimidating here 😮
Bully's suggestion would have made what was an incredible piece of television, into a perfect piece of television. I agree, that Roman needed to be shown as the puppet master, and the Rock as his charge, doing his bidding. What a great episode of RAW.
Except that ROck has clearly shown himself to be above Roman. Roman looks like a lackey right now and it is clear that Rock is doing this for himself, not the Bloodline. IT would look beyond stupid to all of a sudden reverse course.
Disagree. Rock is second to
Nobody. He’s a legend. Reigns isn’t in his ballpark.
I disagree. Roman being there no matter what he did still would have looked like The Rocks puppet. Roman not being there is playing his role as the boss who ordered the hit.
The rock is the final boss not Roman
Rock attacking Cody in Romans absent gonna comes out at Roman ordered the beating and hit for the bloodline to attack Cody. Watch and see all this will lead to Roman and Rocky to screw each other. Wwe realized they made mistake with Rocky at the same level somehow they had to make Rocky do a job for Roman to fix the mistake they made. At the end all this will lead to Rock vs Roman on who is the final boss.
Someone needs to hire Bully as a booker/writer. Damn.
Hell of a produced segment to end the show. That's gotta be the best I've seen on Raw in a long time.
💯 YES‼️
Night 2 main event needs to straight out be Avengers End Game. Absolute CHAOS.
Glass shattering will shake the earth…
@@adchewie_8995not happening
I'm disappointed if Dustin isn't used. Troll booking he their night 1 does nothing but support as a fan. Night 2 several run ins Seth turns on cody. Cody needs help Jay comes but also turns. I know cheesy. But than rock goes to mama Rhodes and first word Dustin smacks him jumps rail.
That's just me thou.
Also Dustin goes in the hall would be the best.
@@adchewie_8995 yes cena taking out solo , jey taking out jimmy , punk taking out heyman and finally Austin taking out rock pure madness and chaos
@@sayandas3939 The good ole days… that’s what the attitude era was…CHAOS!!
Bully needs to work on the creative team. 100% Rock took away from Roman in that segment.
Not really Roman can't hang with the rock on any level apart from in ring and that's only due to age ... Romans promos are pretty lack luster but I do agree with bubba on this one he should be the ring leader instead he looks like the side chick
Rock has overshadowed Roman since he came back and has degraded the tribal chief character a lot IMO.
That's the whole point.. .that is what sets up Roman turning on The Rock.
I think some of yall forget ROMAN IS THE CHAMP YOU DONT TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE FUCKING CHAMP
Who cares it was a great segment
The rock's words to Cody were tonight I'm gonna make you bleed. That was what the rock whispered to Cody and that segment at the end of the night that's what happened
Thanks genius.
Bully is on 🔥🔥🔥 with that last take… But I think it sets up Rock vs Roman.
Fantastic Babyface promo by Cody followed by a genuine surprise by Rock combined with a show long cliffhanger finished with a second surprise by Rock and a fantastic final heel performance and Babyface Rhodes Sell. God Wrestling is cool.
i wanted evil rock but now im kinda scared 😂
No take backs.🗿
Bully’s idea about Roman at the end of RAW is genius.
Dave forgets how much fans value Bullys opinion and takes, and when Dave gets too excited Bully check's him real quick 😂😂😂
7:32 Bully was low-key cooking with that lol. Sucks that Roman doesn't show up that often for that to happen
I wanna see Roman with a crimson mask one day tho.
He was on 🔥🔥🔥🔥
he wasn’t there because he wasn’t supposed to be…I think Rock is supposed to overshadow Roman, they’re not to be seen as equals, e.g. the FINAL boss.
Yeah but rocks ego would never let that happen
I see Seth dropping the belt and taking time off to recoup and spend some quality time with his daughter.
That ass whooping of a lifetime reminds me of the I Quit match at the 99 Royal Rumble
Me too The Rock went to a dark place that night…even Mick Foley took years to forgive The Rock for it because his family was there that night…
it had made Mick's family (Foley's wife and kids) cry in horror (as documented by Barry W. Blaustein's "Beyond The Mat (1999): which featured Foley, Jake "the Snake" Roberts and the late Terry Funk (from the Double Cross Ranch in Amarillo, Texas).")
"Tonight....I'm gonna make you bleed..." - The Rock.
Yeah, expected Rock to come back later in the night after that.
Bully Ray never wrong.. I love the way he breaks it down. The Rock is really taking over the segment because Roman can't do it that huge.. The Rock gonna sit at head of the table on this. Roman be puppet master on sideline.
I've been waiting all day for this 😂
Oh I know me too 😂😂😂
Bully has such a sharp wrestling mind. Hats off.
This Final Boss phase is incredible
That segment reminded of Dusty vs 4 horsemen when they broke Dusty's arm in the car door
Which is why I was convinced that Rock was throwing Cody overboard
Thank you Jack Perry all of this or at least most of this wouldn't have been possible without you.😂
Haha actually true! Jungle jack, most influencial wrestler
LOL True
Now he's a baby face 😂
Man, if I ever did go into wrestling, I want Bully As my backstage agent. He has such insight to get anything over. I definitely want his input as a performer.
Best ending to raw in 10 yrs.... cody vs the final boss is gold.....
bully loving this attitude era esque booking
Lol David going to cry 😢about Cody lol last night show was awesome
I wish bubba would be involved in writing most of these stories
Yeah, Bully’s idea about Roman popping up makes sense. Even though Paul said Roman ordered the hit on Smackdown, it looses the effect of Roman actually being there.
To Bully's point about not wanting to scare off the kids, I think I see what WWE is trying to do.
We know they're transitioning to the Netflix era, which should give them a lot more leeway as far as worrying about cussing and whatnot. In the meantime, Rock is just trying to gain back as much of the 18-34 year old male fans as he can to get them to stay tuned in til they take RAW to Netflix.
He's likely paying all the fines and doing all the politicking with USA, the FCC, etc.
I would think they'd let Smackdown be the family friendly show at that point, only makes sense because you don't wanna completely scare off the families.
I was actually thinking about that a little bit with Netflix now being the new home, I bet Raw will be the late teen/adults show while Smackdown will stay PG and sometimes PG13. I also noticed since Triple H become the Boss I noticed Raw was slowly becoming new age Attitude Era. We all know HHH loved and enjoyed the Atitude Era and knew it was when WWE was at its best.
I kinda like this version of the Rock tbh. I hope everyone is ok. Cody gave himself color when he was on the ground and they panned in on the Rock when he pulled off the belt 😂. Still hell of an ass beating.
If Dave doesn't break down and cry by the end of this video I'll be surprised. His Golden Pony Boy got bloodied, beaten and bruised by the Board's Champ, The Rock.
When Cody loses hes gonna be the biggest baby on X

I wanted to see Roman at the end too, but not as being the mastermind behind it, but having this a little shock and scared look in his eyes like he's realizing he cannot control the Rock.
I'm surprised that everyone is surprised about how the show ended. So far in recent months whenever they say they're going to do something they do it. So when the rock said he was going to make Cody bleed before the night was over I believed it and it happened.
It's always so much fun hearing Bully's take and ideas for storylines and segments. His heart and mind are still no doubt so passionate for the wrestling business.
Can't wait for Cody's revenge!!!! This story that's being written is legendary.......
Bully needs to be a booker, plain and simple.
This is on a level I have never seen before. I thought I saw hints of this in Black Adam, but he held back there. This was PURE RAW BRAHMA ENERGY.
Bubba makes a great point that I hadn't thought about until I thought about it: I can't remember there being so many legit Top Guys in the same place at the same time for many many years.
Thank you for saying it. I think they're setting up for Seth to turn on Cody, which would be a glorious heel turn for Seth and leaves room to add to the story.
Just saw Zilla Fatu and Jacob Fatu live in Rochester NY at GCW wrestling. They both could show up at WrestleMania this year as part of the Bloodline. They both belong in the big league company! Can't wait for WrestleMania!
Im feeling it let’s also say Seth and Becky Lynch both lose and are forced to go to Smackdown. Now after helping Cody against the new Bloodline Seth get jealous and spiteful causing him to go Heel in order to win Money in the Bank Becky wins Money in the Bank and Seth Chooses Cody as a surprise Opponent
~ Cody/ Rollins 3. Summerslam 2024 Seth get hyped by Becky to get him to bug out and ask the cash I trying to kill Cody’s title Reign before the Netflix crossover. He even tries to butter up the new bloodline members and Roman Reigns. Reigns is dealing with the Rock taking the Head of The Table business annoyed with Silo and Jimmy He rolls with Zilla and Jacob Fatu to his matches No Paul Heyman. He gave him up when the Rock won.( 😅)
I think that's how Cody loses. He wins night 1 so Jimmy and solo and rock is gone. Then a new bloodline member arrives
Probably not.. Zilla Fatu is gonna do something different.. he probably calls out Solo take what his rightfully his.. even before joining the bloodline. His father Legacy moves stolen from Solo.. so there will be the storyline for Zilla on it.
I reckon one or both might turn up during the Jey/Jimmy match and reunite the brothers, stacking the deck further against Cody
@@rileyk5228 no way he and seth are winning night 1
Awesome segment took me back 25 years
The fact that the Priest hasn't cashed in his MIB suitcase yet, tells you something.....
Don't nobody want to see that dude hold the title. 😂
Speak for yourself.
Best part was when Rock was saying You wanna see your Hero, and you see Cena and Austin as a Foreshadowing from Rock past rivals!
So Damn Good! 💖💎🙌♾️
"I wanted more blood" of course you did bubba lol
I love every time Dave tells Bully to give his take but keeps droning on 😂
I think that there is a chance that Paul was there to talk to Drew because of what Rock said on the same night Cody slapped him. Where Rock said something along the lines of, "To make sure you don't finish your story (to Cody) and to make sure that title goes away (to Seth)." Could be Roman and Rock having Paul meet Drew to ensure that he walks out with the title and because Drew has been winning huge must-win matches by different kinds of interference as of late. Like Drew beating Cody and winning the chamber match. Could be wrong but I think that's a possibility.
I think saying Mick Foley was as over as Austin and the Rock is insane.
He was. Go back and his listen his pops. He wasn’t pushed as much as those two but he he’d get the same crowd reactions.
"Foley is god" was a thing. That's all I will say ..
Austin, Rock and Undertaker would say the same thing bully said because like bully, they were there
ya'll do know when you say "final boss" I think about video games. Big boss THe boss but final boss sounds like a video game. haha love this channel. thanks you guys.
Bully has such an amazing mind for the business and he jusy carried hinself like an OG. He doesnt have to be an onscreen personality but i can hear him talk about the business all day long.
Asparagus with light butta!😂😂😂
That was real wrestling last night that blood thanks to Cody and the Rock
Bully wanting Roman therre isnt a bad idea, but in my opinion him not being there speaks more to Rock acting out on his own and furthering a discension between him and Roman, thus adding to the unpredictability that Rock cannot be controlled and ultimately does not agree that Roman is tribal chief and these are the plot points of long term booking that when they eventually turn on each other itll all make sense
I like when dave gets emotional and passionate. It makes you appreciate wrestling more
The great thing about the complexity of the booking - there's plenty of contingency plans in case someone either gets hurt, or needs some time off. There's so many seeds planted that anything is feasible. Damian has MITB, Gunther is a contender, Punk eventually will return, Seth and Roman could lose their titles and want retribution - there's so many choices, and they all make sense, it builds momentum for new stars, and it keeps everyone guessing. This is what WWE needs instead of linear booking.
Stay tuned for WWE social media or possibly Smackdown for the shot of Roman an Paul sitting in that suv in front of Cody's rv. That's when you get the acknowledgment from Roman to the Rock for the beat down.
I definitely was thinking that because there was 2 black suv in the background
Bully bringing that Pat Patterson level wisdom
Vince owed his success to Pat's finishes. The greatest finish guy ever imo.
It couldn’t have been a better ending set piece with the rain pouring down as rock is striking Cody with lightning
He told him in the beginning, “Tonight I am going to make you bleed” so yes i was expecting him at the end
Dave, this is not Candy Land.
That last segment definitely gave nWo vibes
Bully Ray and Paul worked together for so long that they sound almost alike
I adore the way Bully thinks about the details which leads to the bigest picture
Dave is going to put on the pink robe and cry in his room.😂😂😂😂
Blood isn't gonna sit well in the rain Bully.
The blood was at 11 PM Eastern time, but it was 8 PM Pacific time.
This is such a great show!
Demonic possession is pretty far beyond the realm of believability.😂
Okay, there was a beat down BUT, did everyone notice 2 things
The Rock was out of breathe thru out the whole beat down
The Rock was moving so slow, Cody could have ran inside his bus and got a blood capsule
He was in dress clothes in the rain stupid and he is 51... did he fall or stumble no so shut up
Shut up
No he wasn’t. Where? Yeah he put a beat down on Cody but he didn’t need to move much to do it. Cody did most of the moving. The Rock wasn’t blown up at all. Just stop, lol.
@RavensFlock9592 HAHAHA, not going to argue with someone that gets on here to argue such as yourself. You have your opinion and I have mine. The Rock was winded and tired thru out the segment... Good day..... bye

The italien connection, 🇮🇹
Zio Bully and Zio David you guys are awesome...you guys should be on the tko board.
Since the WWE with the Rock is giving off major Attitude era vibes, the backstage fighting, outside etc, they need to keep this momentum. Remember when Austin's truck would be stalking people outside the arena especially Vince? That would be cool for Wrestlemania night 1, a few random outdoor scenes of his truck to lay the plant. Could have a scene where The Rock is walking into the arena and he sees Austin's truck parked off in the distance, and just as he notices it, it starts up and drives off. Then a few other scenes like that.
Having Austin come out to help then get involved in night 2 would be epic.
Man, I can't wait!
Anything less than Cody winning this year night 2, is a failure on story telling. It’s ok to have the payoff without Seth turning lmao
Even if the things Drew is saying is true, what’s great about his heel character is that he’s a total hypocrite when it comes to that stuff.
I thought the ending of that segment with them all on Raw was brilliant in how it showcased that. Drew was screaming at Punk that Punk is obsessed with him, all the while Drew has multiple pieces of clothing with Punks name on it and he completely ignores Rollins (his real opponent) while ranting at Punk, leading to the kick and stomp by Rollins. Just all-around great stuff.
Drew is great with his character-work. For all his swagger and bravado, he's vulnerable when he gets desperate. He needs Punk to give him attention so much he ignored the immediate threat of Seth.
He gonna gloat at Punk after winning the title and shoved the WHC to Punk face. Punk knock Drew down then Priest cash in and win the WHC. And Drew going on a Rampage Raw after Mania
7:32 I absolutely love that ending and that would took that segment super over the top and made Roman look like a true boss out there. But I will also go this route as well if Roman wasn't there I will have Paul Heyman come from out the shadow with his phone saying call Roman Reigns and then for the first time you hear Romans voice over Paul Heyman's phone and he calls out to him Wiseman... And Paul response it's done fade to black shows over. That right there would have been dope as well on some boss moves type thing Like I don't have to be there to get this done.
Nice interview
I keep hearing people say this is the "New"Attitude Era. While it does have some elements of that, for a 52 year old that grew up watching Mid-South & WCCW, it feels like something closer to that era. REAL wrestlers having REAL problems with each other. For the 1st time in a very long time I'm curious to see how it all plays out.
This era cannot surpass attitude era, and not even close because back then the roster was full of great superstars who can entertain from the start to end of the show. Current roster is no good, most of them are stale n lack of charisma on the mic except LA Knight. Imo, I would say WWE is heading to Ruthless Aggression Era part 2.
@@bnel9318 the main problem (and it was a small one) I had with the Attitude Era is there were still some "goofy" cartoon-like characters. But it was still great. Being 52, I still prefer a more real based show and maybe this era will combine some of the elements from that (the 80s) & Attitude Era.
@@NOLA_Voodoo that’s exactly what I was thinking, I believe Golden Era and Attitude Era combined are coming to the scene in WWE for months and years to come.
Stone Cold shows up at Mania 40 and helps Cody defeat Roman.
Completely disagree with the idea that Roman should've been revealed at the end calling the shots.
I think the whole angle they're going for is Roman taking issue with The Bloodline being at RAW with Rock calling the shots. The long game is gonna be the power struggle leading up to Roman/Rock at WM41.
5:07 I think there would’ve been more blood but the rain in Rosemont, IL was REALLY coming down. Super heavy
