19:40 So it's not an animation mistake so much as it is an artistic choice. It was done in the manga too. Only rather than showing the where the hand would be, Oda simply hid Buggy's hand through the framing of the panel. He often teases the powers of characters Luffy will have to face before outright showing us. And while staying true to that formula, there are some shots in the anime, like Buggy's invisible hand, that can be a little confusing on first watch. Just know that if the first time you see someone's power and it's not quite clear what it is, it's likely just teasing at the actual ability.

Oda is an absolute master of set-up and pay-off. He shows you a small glimpse of this here in the emotional department, but he is also insanely great at this when it comes to mysteries.

After watching One Piece again and again my hate for Buggy is gone😂😂 But he really pissed me off too at first.. Now I don't hate him, but I just don't really like him.. but his voice never a nuisance to me.. but different people different opinion, so you can choose your likes and dislikes👍🏻
LOL I'm sure down the line we'll learn more about him that won't make me pissed off at him as much!
