Kanye rant on the grammys brought me here.... i was dying to here who Beck was and now that ive neard at least 3 of his songs im glad i did... thank you Kanye for hatin on him lol..... as a black individual i must say this guy grammy was well deserved I can't discredit him..

I think it's hilarious that Kanye has most likely helped Beck's sales. Maybe he is a nice guy and a genius, appreciates his music, and did it for that reason, I doubt it though.
This is an artist, plays many instruments, his lyrics are poetic , he sings, (not talks) he's also very humble ,(something Kanye West might want to become) and even after being disrespected by that incredibly arrogant asshole,has class.I don't care for rap,but I had to listen to Kanye West to hear what the fuss is all about, people saying he's a genius ,I'm sorry I don't get it, M&M is far better in my opinion.
I love the autumnal and solemn yet determined quality of this song (and album), and it's arranged and recorded beautifully. However, the actual songs are pretty standard singer-songwriter fare. The melody is pretty but nothing on the level of his idols like Elliott Smith or even Nick Drake. Not really sure why critics jizz all over this guy.

He was just disrespectful, preached about the Grammys not respecting 'real' artists but had the nerve to perform at the Grammy's in auto tune. PLEASE Kanye is an opinionated fool.
