Hello there, the first 3 chains are not foundation chains, they are just 3 chains. Foundation chains are the chains you start with. The stitches are not called dbl chains they nare called double crochet.😄💗no disrespect intended.
Apparently I’m not advanced enough to get it. I tried it for hours, ripped it apart countless times, followed the directions best I could, 26 chains first row, 23 second row, 21 third row no matter what I did, the same every time. Just not going to work for me 😢

No se porqué hacen cancelación de nada sin tener pruebas de eso . It should be 26 stitches each row. You may have to count your stitches each row. If when you find that you’re missing a stitch, simply do an increase.
